Hey everyone, and welcome back to another episode of the four eyes academia podcast. I am your hostods and we also have abby Chris, I still okay. For this episode we are going to be discussing Manga and anime, specifically adaptations, what we prefer and why, accessibility and everything else along those lines. But first we're quickly going to find out what everyone's been reading and watching this past week. So I'll go first. I've been going back on my one piece binge. Finally. I'm still literally ten years behind, but I am getting through it and I've also been reading golden can we abby. But if you've been reading watching, I've actually not been reading anything since Mangarok went down, but I've been watching fruits baskets, the two thousand and nineteen version, season two, and I think that's it. I've been playing games mostly. HMM. Well, you've been playing. I think spoutune has become my call of duty. I've just been playing spoutune or the day every day and I'm crossing as well a little bit. You'll write you I've been reading too much. I'm trying to finish off seven deadly since the Manga. So the story, I think yeah, I never finish it. The same as same as I be. So when Manga Rock went down, I struggle to five and a place to read. Man off my phone easily for having to go through web browser links. But yeah, but reading that for the MOM's I think is I think it's finished. Pretty sure it is. I've been watching Cook agory. I think I'm like I've almost done with the second season by quite lucky. I don't I don't like it as much as the first season at the moment. Labs John, really, yeah, one episode, woman, Episode Eight. I like second season. You like it better. Yeah, I think I preferred it to the first season. HMM, I haven't watched it yet, but what is it about the second season that you don't like about the first? Because the first one had me shook on some episodes, like I don't know, I shot sometimes. I wouldn't say I don't. It's not I don't like the second season. I do quite like it. I think it's more just a case of I think the Games in the second season can be a bit convoluted. Mm again, we mean this true, and so unrealistic, but it's a bit too holistic and the second season. Yeah, but I still do like you still do like it. I'm not sure I like it as much as I don't know if you guys have heard of Kaiji. I don't know, but I'm not got it. Kaiji's another gambling anime which is it's pretty good. It came out quite some time ago, but it's probably better than C Kgory, but I think it's down to down to the individual to decide. The production is not as good, obviously because it came out quite well before. But yeah, that was quite good. And in terms of what I've been playing, coology, no surprises, and Luigi's mansions. I think I'm halfway up the mansion on the elevator. HMM. Yeah, it's quite good. Yeah, it's quite a good game. Definitely recommend people play. I wanted to get I don't know why the O pleay see from that. Well, like towards I'm still behind on one piece. I'm still on a whole cake island. Just life just got an annoy like just work and stuff, so I haven't been able to just sit down catch up on all that, like Manga chapters for one piece, like I used to before. But I think since lockdown I've tried to make more of an effort to make time for it because I think for me something I don't know about you guys, but like just reading Manga is fun and you kind of just they just get lost in all the chapters and stuff. So I'm trying to get back to that, because something that I actually enjoy, but I just haven't had the time to do it just over the past couple of months. So one piece is my focus right now and then all the other all the whole other backlog of Mangas I have to read or just have to come afterwards. I like your priities. That's not right now. Juggle anything if I have to focus on one piece or I'll still peace times. We know what to do m ten years. So before we do get into the main discussion, we also want to quickly cover up some things that have come up in the news recently. So does anyone have anything to say about crush Bande Kout for M I think I might get you know, I remember I was obsessed with crush Bande Ku. What's it would no, it's...

...the honestly come the name, but I was obsessed with it on my PSP. All right, yeah, I remember the name. Warped I can't remember I paid. I paid most of the originals. Yeah, I was obsessed with on my PSP, but I haven't played it any other game, any other crush band could game since. So think I actually want to get just from the standard your purposes, back to the PST PSPP, PSP game. Yeah, yeah, man, I missed the Simpler Times. Collecting me wants to get it. But the only crush bandekue game I really remember, really well is wrath of CORTEX, and it's like it's not a deep for me. My Band is, HMM, yes, similar for me. I mean I played the originals and I really like the I'm the ones on playstation one. But to buy the game realistically unlikely, man, because I'm just not going to have the time to play it and I'd probably just maybe watching. Let's play see how those son is the mess that is the smash community. Anyone have any words on that? I'm looking at Chris, well, boy, well, well, well, yeah, I mean it's a complete mess. So essentially what happened was there were loads of statements put out against popular guys in the smash community. So I don't I don't want to name names, but like these are the top guys. These guys have been, you know, affiliated with an intendo directly at terms some of these some of these players and competitors. But yeah, it ranged from accounts of some of these smash players sleeping with children. Have to have to call the children, but fifteen year olds coercing women, men, all sorts of weird, weird things they've been doing in the past and it's reflective of the fact that the fighting game community especially, there was very, very little regulation and care for, you know, the younger competitors. So it is like imagine they'd go to tournaments and some of these hostels are a housing a thirty year old with a fifteen year old. Oh No, what can we see? Electric Chair? What the Hell? It's like? It was and there was no care. I think that the only focus was on the tournaments. Nobody really cared about the safety of competitors and, you know, protecting people and the conduct of that show. People that were participating do not have a HR or or was it like yeah, by game community. That's it, and that's the problem. They don't really have, you know, HR Department or people to go to. You have the the owners of tournaments, which, for example, the evil tournament. One of the other is he a founder, Co founder, but one of the I think the Oh, the CEO. Sorry, he he's basically been out it for something. So if you're having problems of the CEO of the biggest fighting game tournament in the world, you know the whole community is just a mess. But well, yeah, that's lasting big, big problems for fighting game tournaments and the fighting gay community because I don't know for like they've canceled Evo, which obviously is the biggest fighting game tournament in the world. Hm, but going forward it's like there's a lot of work to do before they can re establish any sort of community again. Everything's in tatters. Of Top players are, you know, all been out in left, right and center. It just needs to complete rebuild and I don't know how they're going to do that, to be honest. Yeah, almost was like yeah, I didy you just start again. It's just start from scratch, refinitely different people. Yeah, like a whole clear our getting new people with new mindset. So these kind of things are taken into account in the future. Says might not repeat of some of the kind of instances that happened where all these allegations are about about about the whole community, and it's crazy because Nintendo distance themselves from the smash, quote unquotes, community. They've...

...been doing it for a very long time. They never really recognized smash tournaments and Super Sash borrowers being a competitive game. And Yeah, in hindsight it looks like it was the perfect decision because if they endorsed it, it's almost like they endorsed, yeah, everything they encompassed, which means, you know, the the dangers and all sorts that they will put in these these young vulnerable people under but intend I say, we don't know her. Basically parting. Basically, we don't know. Nintendo teacher was on job that like you know, ain't got no HR. So, yeah, ticky seven, look like we oh God. But yeah, round up Chris, and then a slightly slightly lighten it, the animal crossing. DALC's out. We can finally swim. I'll be taking away. There's not much take away. I'm actually excited. We can finally swim. I do hope that we can change the swim to designs where they are ugly. Oh my God, they are so ugly. So I hope you can change them I hope you can customize them and, you know what, I'm excited, but it's annoying that we can swim the ocean but we can't go into the hot tubs or the Traquzi or any of that. Still re annoying. But I think the lack of the extent to which you can actually interrupt the fur chures when, yes, think of you, when this game really it's even a pocket that they can get into your hot top. They can turn the on sen I feel like even just furntan general in new leaf, there were some there a lot more options, first of all. And Yeah, it just feels different if it was game, which is never playing. Game is so much bigger in every other way. HMM. Yes, yes, it seems like they can do it, but they just don't want to. How they're speaking, they're just being stopping to buy it. Maybe it's coming out later and they staggering in. How many time would you guys think you've put into animal question? No, moment. I want to know this. I can actually check. I think I'm put in like maybe I used I can check. I can check as well. Maybe definitely over a hundred hours too, and I'm a crossing new horizons. Played for four hundred and ten hours, or more four hundred and ten. I have even finished terrifor in my island, so it can easily go to like five hundred, I'm sure. Yeah, that's the thing with me. I think I stopped Terrif I stopped playing once I got terriforming because I was depressing as days. My game came late as well. Yeah, you came back. He came a day late and I think within a week you put in. I think I remember mentioning you put in a good eighty or so hours and I was like, what are you doing, girl, like it's Cool Association outside the scary. I can takeul. Is True. That is true, but that's how I must fortun I think. I think it's fortuned to cover a shige obsession. Bad, but yeah, that's animal cross. And speaking other like new games. You have so many anime games coming up. I don't think any of us are particularly partial to anime games, but it's a new fairytale game coming out and you are zero game coming out and the new guilty get coming out, which is cool. I have good guilt together before. But in terms of like actual games adapted from anime series. I've never played one, but I might be looking at are zero. I don't know, you've never played one. That's in the Anima Games, like if you're talking narrator, jump, jump force or have you never heard any of the good any of them? Hmm, I could des Animal again. Yeah, I mean they're not all bad. They're not all bad, but yeah, historically they are very cheaply made games by usually I'm no cobanda band, I now co whichever these days, and they just the same thing. Just smash Masher Button, be up the enemy, move on to the next one, and I just can't put myself through that. She caught the actually think I would like them, because that's that's not that my kind of game, but I think it's the graphics for me, I don't really can't get into. It's just too looks keep. Yeah, I'm sorry, but I know I say that playing dark wall, but I think I can be a bit of a, I don't know, elitist, I guess,...

...when it comes to playing games that look ugly. I can't do it. Like this is not my thing. No, but definitely, because like the graphics and everything that comes to the game will just that that will actually determine your experience about how you play it. So it's a neat tist it's like your preference and then justified. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, is anyone going to pick up any of these ones? Guilty get? I'll probably get what's guilty about. What kind of game is it? It's a flying game. It's like a traditional fire, but it's very it differs from, say, stew fire and second where each character just seems a lot different from each other. So the gameplay stars of each character really different. But essentially it's a it's a fighting game. It's on a D field but it's got some pretty nice it's really rendering sociated mendering in the backgrounds. So it's a very, very pretty looking game. And but I think maybe Oursera Mike. I don't know if I'll get it, but I'm interested. Yeah, I'm at least intrigued. I'm looking. Yes, I hate great a serve all that coverage. We can get into the main discussion. So it's previously mentioned with the talking about mango versus anime. And one question to kick off this discussion. I'm going to ask everyone is or was their first Manga and first anime. So I'll go first. My first actual mango was fruits basket. Read it in my school. I read in year seven, so that was my first entry point into Manga. Oh, my first anime, technically, because we will grew up watching whatever was on cutting network called jetics or whatever was. It was either poking on or dragon ballzy because because I think they aired a similar times. But the first anime I watched knowing it was an anime was outlaw star and the two armi block of the dock, I'm calling network. I was too young regardless. So yeah, treats basket cooking one outlaw star. That's Hook. Outs are my first Abbey. My first anime, like you said, technically, was probably pokemon. Obviously I don't know I was watching anime at the time, but then when I probably got into anime was like when I was in seconds or I think. The first one's bleach, and then obviously bleach led to the big three, which led to other genres. But first one was bleach and then first Mang surprising was very recent, couple years ago, and it wasn't, I think I when your te doc and time ended a cup of seas. I think first or second season, I picked up the Manga and I was at my first time actually getting into Manga, and then from there I started reading other manage from the same John Toldyo, gool and other stuff. So yeah, that was me, Chris. I think for me some as you guys, my first time was Dragon Bull Z, or first one I can really remember. Dragon Bull Z, alongside sale the moon. He's just watch them on TV when they came on. Obviously everyone was watching it. So we all talked about it in school when it was just a normal thing. The first anime that I watched, knowing it was anime, wasn't a ruder. I can't remember how old I was. I was really young, but I used to go on line wires down the episode and it was funny because by but I couldn't always download. I couldn't download them in order. So sometimes I watch I would watch a block of like, let's say, from episode one, thousand, three and seventeen, and then watch episode, say, Fifty Fifty one, and then I'd find a link episode two and three and then so then, yeah, yeah, it was weird. It was weird. I had to really, really struggle to get to get links and get over the content for new but then I think what happened afterwards is people started posting the episodes and you Jube. Yeah, I want to say that because I was were you watching like part four, part five, put six? Yeah, this, this, this was bi this was before Youtube. So I remember Youtube days to stay to splay, as you said, into like different parts. Some would be good and only have two, others have like five different parts of three each episode. But that's the first one I really remember. And our law star was the second one actually for me. I downloaded one. Basically my cousin found out about he's on. He introduced me to and I wanted to one of him. So I I was looking at you know, it's very search...

...seeing, trying to find so I'm going to go ahead, to ahead with Nuruo and I picked outlaw star. I remember get him because it's not that many episodes. Is it like out about old episodes? Yes, I twenty episodes. I'm never forget getting to the end of it. I'm thinking we a minute, it's done. But yeah, that was that was good. I was funny. How about you entered? I just want to answer a bes question took about what stores about. Yeah, it's basically on such a sci fi I guess it's not really a space on. Yeah, last I'll never get into it. I'm just going grand fill surface. I'm going obvious that. No, Franks, it is really good, though. It's one of the ones I watched as a kid that I went back and watch when I got older and like yeah, it's it's good as when I first watched. It's not just the rose tinted glasses, confusion, compusing memory. But yeah, I self. Well, first anime, like, like all of you guys said, like will probably all watching anime at a time when we're younger, we didn't know you watch anime. So when I was younger I used to watch stuff like, you know, Sacra Card Kapta, Shaman King on jet tics. But for me, the first anime that I watched where I sat down, I was just like okay, this on Japanese animations is death a anime was st say on nights of the Zodiac. I'm not sure if you had watched that. It's it's really cool, but it's very, very old. It was created in the S, I believe, S S, and I remember watching it when I was younger, when I was in France. So that was one of the first proper animes I watched and I watched it French sub so that's why I like told the third I don't mind French sub stuff. So I remember watching that. It was a really cool and first and Manga that I from memory. I believe my first Manga that I read was Naruto. So I think at one point when it used to come on jet it's back back in the day and he's still on those breaks and I remember being like really impatient. I just I can't be asked wait for next season. And so then one of the thing one of my cousin's at the top at the time plums like why is continue watch? I'm sorry, and read the Manga and then from there, as is how I started reading Manga when I was too impatient to wait for the animes. Everyone has a family member that put them on. Yeah, but my mom, actually, my mom put me on all things anime and Manga also. She's cold show. Wow, she actually put me on, like I remember, because dragon people don't realize how old dragon ball is. Like fact of my mom used to watch dragon balls. They just don't deep it. And I remember had like telling me all the things she used to watch. I was, I don't know, watch that to remember her getting all the box sets, DVD's, Cassetts of all this stuff and I should just watch at home, obviously not knowing was anime and Mansor anime at the time, but she, like legit, put me on. I want to be like a mom when I grow up. I'm definitely putting my kids on anime. So that is going to be me. Like when my kids get to that Asia, like to thirteen, they're going to start their one piece journey. They'll be said, they're gonna learn ladder laugh, yeah, from watching now. They're gonna like after school out, even restrict the chapters that now I got a paste it. That just is a journey going to be online, ten fifteen year journey, just like me and Youtube. Part One, part to make them understand the strongle like that Netflix for them. No. So I think, if I'm just just introduced, the next question I want to ask everyone, and if for myself, that Manga was always easier for me to like keep up with, because it's a different story now, but when I was like in my early teens, I'd be reading like fifty to sixty or Manga at the same time. Some that we were released weekly, I'll be caught up with and others I just read in between to just filling the gap. But I always find out a lot more mindable than watching anime. So that is there a particular medium anyone prefers? Like I will almost always choose mango over anime, AD the choice, unless it's like a sports series or something, then I'll go. You just watch the anime, but it's almost always manger for me and the new ITCA's like that. For anyone else? Well, for me I think I was anime only for such a long time that I'll always give the anime a chance. Not First, but it's not going to be that written off for me, and I will give a chance if I feel like I might enjoy it more. But I think for the longest time I was animal only. A has in I couldn't understand why people read the mango on animal was right there. I hadn't understand it, and then I opened my third eye and then I was Oh, I see, okay, I understand now. By especially for stuff like I feel like for me there's very specific ones that you literally can't even watch anime for like preserve and whatnot. But generally I would see where the Mandar is. If there's a hundreds of chapters for Mang and there's only like a couple episodes or seasons out for...

...the anime, I'll try the Manga first. Or what I usually do is just watch the anime then pick up the Manga with animal left off. So yeah, that's me. I would always give evil want a chance. I'm not really you know, I'm not really like one or the other one. Other then sport, like he said, sports, I could only watch the anime and I think horror probably would read the Manga, but other than that, in the middle, yeah, me it's but that mean it's different from yours in a sense that I would always tends to go with the Manga first. Like tods, I've always what I started of anime first and I was always really fond of anime. But I think as I got older and I got a bit busier, it just became a bit easier to read. To read Manga, became easy to store manger. Those times when, you know, watching anime on the go wasn't that possible because you didn't have the Internet data to do so you didn't have the storage to save and once your phone. So it was quite tedious trying to watch anime when you're out and about, whereas mango on the train, on the bus, you know, whatever you're doing, you could always read it and I felt like I could, I could consume it as a faster rate. So I mean that much is that much just stuck. Now my only issue is finding Manga these days. MMM, tends to be. It tends to be very, very difficult and inconvenient, and I set off to him. Yeah, even more so than anime this these days, which is really, really odd. But I mean my goats is still Manga. I will watch anime for certain types of anime, like sports stuff, where there's a lot of combat stuff, where storyline isn't really a big issue. And usually if the story isn't, it's a story isn't very long. So if it's like a short anime' because I can't at this time in my life, I can't really commit to watching a thousand episodes of you know, the text is set to con and it's not going to happen. So, yeah, I prefer to just stick to Manga for the long, long stuff and if it's a movie or a shoot anime, sure I can deal with that. Yeah, like for me it's the same as like what Chris is saying. Like I think back in the day I would have been able to just dedicate so much more time just sitting all day and watching anime, which I used to do, but now, obviously we've just life, work and stuff like that. I definitely think reading mango is a lot easier to consume and get through in even like before, back in day, I think I always tended to read Manga first, like same where you'd read, I don't know, like Harry Potter Books In and watch the film, like I just did, just take the same approach when he came to Manga. But I remember, I think I remember watching an amaze like soul eater and you you have could show getting into it ends and then you know, when you go online after you finished watching an anime, you want to get all the Info and stuff, that background and everything, and I remember like reading in these chat saying Oh, yeah, but they missed this out, and I used to be light weight, hard so I used to go back read the Manga and be like all my days, this is completely different. So I like have taken the approach where I know the original story, like from start to finish, and then I can watch the mangas that back and be like, you know what, at least I know everything's going to happen and I could just enjoy the adaptation of what it is. So I think for convenience I definitely say Manga, but, as you guys are saying, I think the certain types of genres which are more enjoyable to watch, particularly one there's a lot of fighting, a lot of action, and particular ones that you mentioned as well, like horror and things I'd prefer to watch. But I like to go the basics and start off, start and read the original stuff first. Let's to get back to the point Chris made about how it is an issue to even Fan Manga these days. I remember as soon as I started making like my own money and I wasn't completely read on next scan scans, I think, Oh, I can just buy a manger now, that's the problem solved, and then I found out it actually there is a lot of Manga that never makes it out of Japan, that doesn't get license and stuff. So like I don't know how excess of ability of certain Manga and anime for that matter, like affects everyone's like habits. Like do you find that with age you've gotten and you read and watch less? Is it because of just life or because certain things just aren't as easy to get to you? For me it's more life like. I don't really feel like like if I don't know about it, then I'll probably wouldn't pick...

...it up and read it. So I don't really think you know the ones that made going to make out of Japan. That matters to me, I think, more so life gets in the way and then I don't really have time to watch as much anime or read as much Manga. But yeah, I think I said for me and I don't think I feel like accessibility use the main issue for my good. I'm actually surprised, like you can watch more the anime that you want, but not the MANGDA. I don't know. Every since Mang rocks on down, is actually impossible to find Manga to read like on your iphone. I I don't get anime. Now there's a look coming to Netflix, for example, and Amazon time. Yeah, there's a lot more even used to access anime, but nothing's really opening up fom anger, regardless of how you read Manga that you buy or you read digitally or you rely on SCA hands. So yeah, that's weird. Though. Why do you feel that is? I actually don't know why it's harder to find Manga than it is anyware. Honestly, don't know. I feel like I want to say it's the demand, but surely not m yeah, that demanding in Japan always be there. Like you know, before, you know, Manga started to become mainstream and you know, it was more accessible in different markets. I think their core, you know, target audience are the Japanese, which is where they kind of obviously most Manga, Manga title start off, start off. So I don't think, and I didn't think, it's demand, because I always do. I think that demand Japan always kind of be stable and I think it's only become more amplified because now a lot more international. But I actually think, I think with all things it was comes down to money. I think with everything, and there's all aspects of life which comes down money. It just involves somehow. But I don't know if you know publishing companies out there just aren't investing. Yeah, exactly. Translators are maybe as as availables are used to be. Publishing companies might not be expanding those different titles out in different markets. That I think that might be when it made you protect some of the causes that has led to that, the slowdown of Manga becoming less accessible as well? HMM, yeah, yeah, definitely. I feel like a of it is down to the fact that these production companies, when they make anime, a huge amount goes into it. It's crazy amounts goes into it. I mean from the animation to sound, to voice actors, and once you've invested that much, it's it's a no brainer, absolute no brainer, to to make a an extra income off of localizing it to, you know, the Western audiences, no matter how good or bad it's doing in Japan. If you if you put, you know, an ex joke, God knows how much into some American voice actors, still a bit of Va, little bit of advertising, you're going to make money off of that offer that anime you created, because the initial price, the initial funds you've put into that anime is going to be tremendous to be in, whereas of Manga, I feel like Trans I mean animation, is not as big of a deal because most of the time the Manga CAS Durin all the panels, but you don't need to really branch out in the same in the same means as you would with with, you know, anime. Secondly, Mangas not as popular to Western audiences generally as anime would be. So I can see why a lot of you know, is like shown and jump, for example, or whatever spill or or Manga outside of showing and jump, feel that there's no point in wasting time trying to, you know, translate the Manga that they've created, having to, you know, make sure the jokes make sense to the western audiences and all of that, because I don't think the actual, you know, price and cost of making Manga is nearly nearly as much as it is with anime. But I don't know, I don't know, I could be. It could be very reasons. Yeah, so I was a lot of fun translations you for free. So them, because so we're going to have it by force. I remember when I first watch started watching anime. Those them that if if any...

...of you remember them, I've heard it's the namest familiar. Yeah, they used to do all the translations for Naruo when it came out. I think they also extends, extended to bleach. They had a very, very like iconic fun yeah, and they used to right jokes at the yeah, yeah, so, yeah, I remember they used to do that and that was that was when, you know, anime wasn't as big in the West. HMM. But yeah, very, very, very quickly, very quickly, Manga Studios realized, you know, there's massive demand for this in western culture, like Americans, British English speaking countries, even French speaking countries, Europeans, all sorts. Everyone's just into anime. So it just makes sense for us to do this rather than passing the money into Manga. Yeah, pied people who Taurent in episodes, sending on Arcs and all sorts. So, yeah, I don't think that's same. You know, those same thoughts of translated over world with Manga for the must and I also think, like just getting back to the whole money point as well, I think it's just gotten some point where the bubble is tired. They're like these lat all overseas have been enjoying this free Manga for all these years. Yeah, we're just like, you've had enough and still with it and your time to suffer. And Yeah, now kind of based the reality and like knowing how hard it is to actually get ahold of Manga now. But even with the whole like collapse of mango up, I don't know what I'm going to do. You and once I catch up all my chapters, because I still got it, it's just going to I know, at some point I'm going to have to look elsewhere. So, as you said, like Chris, is really good point around the fact that they've just seen where the money is at, where it's quicker to not maker but financially makes more sense to invest in animes because you can just capture so many different audiences just globing not in not only in Japan, but in other countries as well. So, yeah, agree at that point. I'm actually unaware. But what is the you know, the best legitimate way to access Manga in the UK? Well as companies like Manga UK, a lot of independent make stockists like that. Yeah, it all ties into I guess it's less dependent on them because and more dependent on the licensing m because then we could we could read any Manga that gets China, because I guess we've, for example, with like shown in jump. Shown to jump is what it's. A Magazine essentially comprises of, you know, loads of different anime, and that's why you find a lot of people in Japan read the same anime, because they're just reading the entire catalog that is contained in that, you know, in magazine. We're here a lot of the time we have to wait for physical copies to be released. So and copies to be, you know, localized and officially licensed, Scud these and these are usually like the year, two years behind what's happening in Japan. I'm so I mean there's Japanese my honestly learning Japanese. It's very, very little incentive, not you know, access and websites in order to read mango, very very little. One into MMM, like I was just I remember a tweet hour saying by this as this critic I follow, and he made a thread saying, Oh, seven seas and all these other like companies, they're finally releasing this mango officially in the West. And there was one on there that I've been really literally for like five years. I'm thinking, well, like I'm more caught up. If I wanted to actually like physically by the volumes, which is what I like to do with Manga. I really enjoy that. Isn't like like eighty volumes long. I like to buy them physically, even if I do read them three scans in the first instance. Well, these viellings are going to be released like once, maybe every quarter, if from lucky me, while already caught up on all the chapters. Yeah, years ago. It just takes. Yeah, it's like I said, there's not really anything to pull you away from reading it the other ways, like the way I'm now. If I could find everything I'm reading legitimately, than I would just buy them, to be honest, especially get better quality guns and translations and stuff like that. Yeah, bad translation can actually put me off reading among absolutely, and also the different translations as well, because will be reading one version and then someone else be like, but it's that, that's not what he said, and then you just started on debate around...

...what was actual quote. It's especially change the whole context. Yeah, context of a chapter, just just for a bad translation. That can you ever tell that? There's like a bias. Have like a remember one one I forgot, named the ARC, but in my hair academia during the stark where they basically like fighting each other. That's really vague and sorry. If you're talking about the ones where school rest of all, where they're like the students amongst themself, they were fighting each other just like a little like tournament, and our thing on behind be able to really early on. So maybe it just is it the all? Was it the after the four day or yeah, I think so. Yeah, yeah, basically when, Um, when Baccago was facing Iraka. HMM, yeah, yeah, I remember that. Yeah, because obviously, I think in most translations, and like actually translation the anime as well, I've only seen it. sobbed. He calls her round face because there's like meetings everyone think called the doll face, and one of the translate he caught in this sty like the look of Baccag in Iraka together, and that was the first. That was before I ever watched the anime or read any other translation for so for the longest time I was thinking this like some romantic subtext there, but really no, it's just the pe the translates trying to start a ship. I really thought that the ship was sailing to come to find that big do not spoke for nothing. But yeah, so I circle back to what we were saying before, like how everyone has like a preference more or less for anime or manger, but they're always exceptions depending on the genre. So for myself, ill almost I don't think I've ever actually read a sports manger very consistently. I'll always watch the anime, say, but for literally every other genre I think I prefer reading the Manga if there's an anime counterpart. So I want to know everyone's like genres that are the exceptions to their bias. Like you said, I think sports anime I watch. I I don't think I could get into Sports Manga. I was thinking of gaming to hike Manga, but I don't know. It's just I don't know if I can actually do it. Other than that, I feel like I can't. I said I'm easy, I can do the anime, I can do the Manga, but horror. You know what I feel like. Actually do now prefer showdo reading shoulder over watching the anime. It's not that the anime adoptions are bad. I think I watch a bad showed your adoption adoption, but I just prefer this something about the room months in back and white and on paper. That's just it just hits different, but the show Jo animes are still good shown inn I think. Any about anime. I think I can put to watch anime. Sorry over reading the Manga and horror for reading the Mando as well. Definitely. That's it, I think. Did Anyone Watch the ginge to collection? Oh good, I think I saw from the clips. That just look really bad and I just it just put me off. I never watched this appointment. I remember the Goductor that, like everyone was it was big, because everyone doesn't feeling you get when you read ginge to Manga is so incestling. They will for to see it being animated and it just it had no effect. It was just it just was really flat. Like you why? But it just is. Got Nothing from it. It's almost like he wasn't even there to oversee the project. Maybe he wasn't, I don't even remember. Yeah, realness, you just take the content, do your think and you just didn't look back. But do you, guys, read as anyone reads the promise? Neverland? I'm I watched the anime. I said I was on. I haven't if you read it and you watched a new anime adaptation was actually really well done and I was surprised because I thought when I was reading the promise leveland it literally spookes me, like it was proper creepy and I was like, it's anime going to actually be wan to trislate and you did it so well, like. So there are some decent horror animes. It's just the case of finding them. That was that the the one less funny with a funny translations. They're supposed to be horror. Do you know? This is the this is the anime that is this is the one animal that this dubbed is far superior. The dove is so funny. Stories, got stories. Sorry. The story behind that actually was that it was initially marketed as just traditional, like one of the mill horror, I'm anime, but turned out to...

...be really like all received like just it just felt didn't get really good reviews. Basically, when imported to the West and they were going to do a sub the basic the company basically that was in charge of doing a localization just for you know what, I said, fuck it, yeah, let's be because the the original companies to like, you know what, we're giving this to you guys to do the dub over, the English dub, but you can like for fee to take any creative liberties. So basically, what they're doing it's a biblically western. Basically, you said, fuck it, we're going to like do whatever we want to. They made it. Basically they turn into a comedy. So what this? The original story and the Subje get the like miles apart. But what would the end product? Is something so hilarious, like every every Halloween, I go back and I watch these stories in the DUB is really I've seen some funny clips. I actually might give it a chance. It looks funny. Shad Yeah, ask me, Chris. Oh, stories me more. Sports gotta BE ANIME. Anything with mine, LISS VIOLENCE gotta be anime. Anything I see on maybe twitter or whatever, Youtube with hilarious voice acting, it's gotta be anime. One that correcon no basket. Sorry, Oh yeah, Oh yeah, yeah, corrocon I boss. It was definitely I I didn't think about trying to read that one. The one that isn't really like those that I prefer to watch was Joe Joe's bizarre adventure. Really really preferred watching it over reading it for the most part. Isn't the sound of Hilarious? The voices, Joe, Joe, Joe Star, and he's all my gods, like it absolutely had to be watched, man, and even the music in it is pretty good, so he's is great. Music is really, really good. But yeah, Manga, for me horrors like almost nonnegotiable. With Manga, I think it's always the best median. Even when I look at like attack on Titan it's not a pure horror, but it does have a lot of horror elements in it. I still a lot of the lot of the dark kind of scary scenes. I do prefer to read them, but you know, I guess for the most part, as long as the adapts Hatia is good, I wouldn't mind watching or read them both. Like, for example, with one Punchman, I think the Manga is amazing and what the first the first season of the anime was really looting good. Also, actual want to say I think I prefer watching comedy then reading it. I don't. I don't think I've ever read a funny Manga. HMM, only watch them, like yeah, that's just me. Which one to start that? You're right, you're right. Even think about that one as well, because sometimes the comet like the COMEDIIC dialog just doesn't translate well. So, yeah, you need to get the Japanese and it has to be something or you can't come on. First of all, DUB doesn't exist to me, but it doesn't, you know. Yeah, it's you're watching. Comedy. Has To be stubbs and it has to be anime. Yeah, like for me, like good right. What you guys also like sports anime. I I cannot sit down to watch that. Sports anime has to be anime only. Sorry, sports animes I prefer to just watch. With horror are I think it can really depend. So I like to see the adaptations of Horror Manga, but then I think depending on the art style of the Manga, I can prefer it. So I really think that depends as all, because I think some like Manga, some like Manga authors. They can just really illustrate it certain seems really well, just depending on the art style, and others it just doesn't hit that well, and then in those instances are prefer to watch it. But definitely in that case it's it's a bit of fifty. What did I say? So sports have to watch. I think showed you as well. I think I prefer reading showed you now rather than watching it. I think I don't know. I think it's because maybe I'm getting older. I just find sometimes that anime showed it is just too cheesy for me and I'm just like, yeah, this a bit too much. Yeah, much cheese, and I'm just like no, it's a bit much. It doesn't come across in the same way when you read it. So I definitely said that would be my list of things that I prefer to watch an anime face. Is Not a lot of Shouda anime that that. It isn't. Yes, so much bad out there, but it hasn't ever even made it past season one or...

...got adapted at all. So, having said that, I think Shannon is probably the only genre that gets animated in it like a grand scale, because even for the parent tonics, signing all that stuff didn't get it's not to the same degree is shown and I think it's I think it's definitely has to be read. A hard imagine watching. I don't think I've enjoyed watching a sign and over reading it. I feel like that depends really, like wait, saying psychological right. It can shown understand. He's more adult, even gets about style. Adult and I'm moder. Okay, so that did you. Does anyone here watch your league, Black Lading? I watched it, I read and I also watch the anime, and I felt like I got the same, the same impressions of it as I did for for my to alchemist, like it was just like that, if they for adaptation of the Manga. So it's just like it was just like reading, reading again, but this time is animated because you really sticks to it. So I think it was really in that sense, because I love the mango like a lot. It's been high as phaders, so then like talking about it, but it's one of my favorites. Speaking of saying in the show, and I can't remember what term is used to describe a hunter, Exuanta, I feel like show someone that they got is a shown, but they called it something, something Shinn and I can't remember what it's some self category. Yeah, it gave its own like its own category, because it's isn't really shown in but it is. It's is that a shown name is a shower, isn't it? I think so. Sac I don't death. No, tackle times them like those. I mean, come on, I mean showing them what, what's the age. What's the age demographic for for showing it's usually about ways teams. Now, yeah, that's a bit much for look at teck on Titan. It's like it's shown in the well, actually, there is a something by like that. I scored. I'm getting back the TADS on Wikipedia. It's like action, horror, post APOCALYMSIC. Then think shown in is one of them, but I don't know officially what it is. What fuck, I can tell. Yeah, trying to find a subcaud growing up, hunt up for hunter, Hunter. I think it's pretty much like established. It's a showing even with it. Start trying to figure out what the subject category is. Could I think I know what were you're looking for, Crisp. Yeah, I remember steeling, the name that cannot remember for the life of me what's called. But yeah, so that's a good example so far that. What would you prefer? Would you prefer to read it? Would you prefer to watch it? What shown? Yeah, I think. I mean I'm not shown in. Sorry, not showing them. Hunting Hunter. Hey, you watch because the anger like the art star. But you know, we'll see. I cutted him out because you, yes, things to Gush, you know, he's sick. I know he is. I will say what I will say. Is that fair enough? They work quite a few, you know, substandard looking chapters when he was just trying to churn them out because people wouldn't stop disturbing him from playing struggling squiest did here down. But there's a there's also a lot of art in the Manga and a lot of panels are like really, really crazy. Man. I know where gone needs is it? Yeah, for example, that that looks. I mean it's dark in the anime, but in the Manga it's a lot more of visceral anime. I remember that. Yeah, there's also a chapter which obviously hasn't been an animated yet. Yeah, but without spoiling it, it's say, you know, a supernatural being and it's pretty much a horror scene. But the way in which it looks I can't possibly imagine it been doing just it been done any justice animated. It's just one of those panels are it's almost like trying to anime, you know, the Mona Lisa Right. Yeah, they're just some things that aren't they don't look like some some things are just better left, you know, untouched. I make part of that comes from. Obviously it's the MANGARKA's story, so they know how best you can bey it. So, even if you have really talented animating,...

...it's like when it's the person's actual like this story you're telling is always gonna hit differently. Yeah, that being said, Hunter's hunter, the anime, was animated extremely well. I really enjoyed, really enjoyed it. Yeah, and I think because I've watched both, so I've read and watched it. I definitely go for the anime because the soundtrack is just it's just perfect, like particularly like and it's the the what's it? The the art? I can remember the name of the Ark of the of the art im go camera soundtracks. That match is just so perfect and it's just like wow, like just well put together. Yeah, just like there's some scenes that you have to watch, there's a certain panels that you have to read that you can't watch it. I mean you know how good the soundtrack is fonjax unser when so a lot of people know the names of the actual songs. Yeah, Oh, yeah, like I know what's the things they hit. Your heard much of the chain Germany, of the chains, of the food chain. Yeah, that's like a really, really popular one, and that one is just incredible, man, and I think the legend of the martial artist. That's a recurring one. That's also also amazing one. But yeah, just goes to show it's soundtrack is something to behold really. I just feel like with lots of anime soundtracks, like they literally they can just make or break the anime that you have like an amazing background story or whatever, and if the soundtrack is not to part, like you can just literally change your opinions or whether you like it or not. Like I've listened to, I've watched some animes and the soundtracks are just so ten out of ten that I'm just actually I just finished watching an episode and like I wanna go down how to play a classical instrument, because that turn out of ten. You want to come out thinking like that as well. Yeah, I mean that's an interesting point about soundtracks, because I've seen some soundtracks that are amazing for different reasons. Some are amazing because of how well they fit in with the theme and the content of what's been shown. The mother's are just really, really good songs. It's just slept like, for example, hunting suns was one that it perfectly encapsulates the mood of what's going on with a lot of the songs, and that's why it will fit so well. Yeah, whereas, for example, Kikai sensin is one where the songs are just actually really, really good songs, I'm not sure how well they will fit in with what's happening. I mean, for the most part it's really good, but the songs on their own are really really good songs. Like it's scary how well produced some of these songs are, as it sounds like stuff that could actually be, you know, on a TV music channel or something like really that good. Still, on the point around soundtracks, I think while some soundtracks can like make or break the anime and I think also in some case, I think sometimes some soundtracks are just so good and the anime is just so trash I just sit back and I watched on. I just such a waste. So cut goola soundtrack. Okay, go, definitely one. I'm not sure you guys have watched a guilty crown. I was really annoyed about that. Watch that. Oh yeah, I was going to Ky. I heard you guys complain about it. That's no, it was such a waste of a soundtrack and also cabin area of iron fortress. Wait mate, waste of time. How many seasons that I have? Was it? Was it just one? Just one, it didn't need anymore. Just wasted so for and I had to be like, what actually happened with that show? Don't go anywhere, Chris. Is it as I mang for it still going on? or I really don't know, but was there ever a man God for like I don't even know. Yeah, because I remember watching it because I was it was reckon. It came up and like I'm recommended that pop up and I was like, yeah, this is it's kind of like got the same themes as attack on tight and there's are okay, cool, I like attack on tire and let me give this a go. Yeah, that's and I was watching, I thinking, I'm tired of these these apocalyptic monsters, loud music. Why is there a train? It just didn't make sense. I mean with with me. It was like I remember what. I remember seeing the trailers come out and there was all the big who are about how it had the same, the same from the same people that made attack on ten or something along those lines. And then I remember watching it thinking this is just sack on tight and again we had like like well, to likely. Yeah,...

...the setting was really good. I think you just didn't care about any of the characters or in your the minovations. It's none of them boring. Literally, characters were so dull, like it was such a way. It was just a waste of time in it. They had to go and put one person of glasses on. Yeah, that's the protagonist. Will we really do? Oh May, by the way, was that it had twelve episodes. By the way, just one waste of twelve episodes. We know when you start an anime it's just like, I really put time into this, so let me just get to the end or not. Peop about that again. Waste an anime. Movies. Sorry, three movies. Cabin area of lame. What I never lights, cabinet of the Iron Fortress, burning life, and cabinet the iron fortress, the battle of NATO. There was a game on IOS and android. Yeahs of a manger. Know, you guys didn't deserve that. She actually want to pick it up now the quiet, the dynamu is from up they see, but the way has it talking about is making me interested. You will watch episode one and you'll realize why we're saying it and you're also clock out. The soundtrack was wasted on all them twelve episodes. Oh wait, the fight seems okay in this. I think someone, I think I might have seen a clip of it. Yeah, okay, but I'm still my still much. They're okay, I guess. And then there's a particular fight scene that keeps people keep posting and I think I saw it and I was like, Oh, might watch this, and someone said please, don't waste your time and never did so. Yeah, just it's just so funny how, collectively we will just like Nah, I'd like suppressed that memory as I oh, yeah, I remember when we all were watching this and then we all got annoyed and dropped it. It was hyped so much. I think it was nominated for some rewards as well. It might have just been hot. It's got seven point to have ten rating. Yes, Oh, yes, lying to me. Yeah, reliant. It was just us that hated literally everyone. I was not, I think one of the things that for me, that really solidifies, not not really solidisfied, but when I go on Youtube and I watched the reviews before the other like anime. Manga youtubers are saying the same thing as me that. I know I'm right and every you have to find a critic that hates everything. I find the good stuff. Yeah, true, yeah, it was crapman. Who can tell me any different? Oh Yeah, if we're gonna go back to like accessibility and like the economics and stuff, is there anyone else here that collects Manga? No, I don't connect. My God, I do have a collect anime for them. I as well. I do have quite a few manga volumes, but I just own I wouldn't really say I'm collecting them, but it's something I would do for maybe certain shows I really appreciate, like the hunting hunt or, you know, for meal alchemists, among those lines. So little common ones I would really collect. I wouldn't really. I'm not the kind of person to buy a Manga. I've never have no recollection of or I don't know, but I've only ever done that once and that was for what was it called? Some something, something, kill, all you need to kill, all you need is kill us. The one. Yeah, I've got that. So I'm ready it yet, but I will do. I remember just buying it with intention of reading it three years ago. I just took a picture of it on it's going to be. I've had it in my bookshelf for like four years. I just opened it today. No Way, wow, it's really good. I've got like that. I've got a vagabond. I'm already yet. I've got a Kira. I've already yet. But yeah, a lot of the stuff that I actually like actively collectors like stuff I've I'm ready in legally online. Where can we watch a KIRA IN THE UK? Never watched it. Way, no way, not watched it. That's good. That's gotta be. That's gotta be the next movie You Watch. Really, that's gotta be. That's gonna be the next next movie watch, hundred percent, and then we can discuss it in the next episode and Next Pot. Yes, I think you're better off waiting for Kira to come on film for because it comes on every year. that. Yeah, yeah, I mean it, but I was really, really young, of probably about six, so I didn't really get what was going on. I've never watched it a again. Since. You know, if they bring it to never even remember that. I was...

...amazing. Yeah, you know what, it's funny. It's funny to say that because it would mean that was it was one of the first animal watched. Yeah, yeah, no, deafer, every film for do the anime. They do the studio Jiblie either, and then they do that separate anime movie stuff as well. Yeah, so you give me. Probably was my first anime events. I Remember Watch that very, very young, spirited away and yeah, yeah, also, those were probably the first animas. Yeah, another all Netflix, which is super good. HMM. It's never been easier to watch Jimmy movies, which is Great. HMM. But yeah, if I'S AKIRA GETS put on Netflix anything like that, then we absolutely move. Yeah, I remember when I watched it. I'll remember watching it thinking all these fashions. Yeah, I need to go and find a real life jacket. Isn't that bomber? That is it Hanada that way? Yeah, all over the Internet it looks so good. You know what, we have to watch it. We have to watch it on the link, wherever it takes. We need to watch it's we can discuss it, watch it together. I feel like Netflix parties anyway, even if it means we will present player time. Obviously, if they sather can do a watch party on twitter. Let's got to be here. I've got here, but yeah, I think that's that's the next movie, next animated movie with watch anyway. Yeah, yeah, I do want to start a mine collection. I think I want to start a shower one. Yeah, that's me. What will be your first your first purchase? What too? Quay, for sure, because it out. I was looking up, I was looking out when Amazon the other day and I was so close to clicking buy and I didn't. I don't know why, but definitely want to play. would be the first one. What's it? Chris suffers from the same issue we were talking about earlier, is in the volumes get released like so infrequently. I have the first to volume and, like I basically I read a few pages every every other week, or say it, because I knew that, and it comes time to buy the next one, I think only like four volumes out you can buy. You know what, the other day, I think I randomly went online, I'm found, because I stopped, obviously when the anime came out and I saw the animal, the mango, in the same place. And then the other day, literally like a week ago, two weeks ago, I saw that there was a good twenty new chapters and I just been staying one night it was at four am. I just saw I was like, yeah, I'm not sleeping tonight, I'm just gonna reading all this. It was, I was amazing, so good, so good, honestly, like the animals as well. Just go back and watch that. Fill in the gap, like yeah, yeah, it's happy feelings. I need the certain in the yeah, yeah, I think I'm definitely want to build a Manga collection. I've started doing it already. So I want a collection of all my the top classics, like Big Three, throughout the years. I just said, like my kids can like experience that journey when they get to the age when I'm not okay, does your one piece journey. It is your I don't know, bleach journey, and then it can start. Yeah, it used to be a big three s ide. Still Count it, which is why at the when we did secrets until last time and I asked the one piece anime, you guys will laughing at me, like why'd you get the first one, and I'm like cause I want to start my collection. Thank you, Chris. So that was a part of my my one piece one so noble reason, though, pass it on like an. And then my younger cousin, he's just n fourteen, HMM or less, like my aunt always leased to like lecture me for it. By more less got him in Daniel me. She's hate me for it. But like it's like he's not he's not doing rot, you know, he's reading. He's reading shows hobbies him to have. She's accepted it now. So I think like I had an interest in collecting like the population, but I think I might be just like give it to him and he can do whatever he wants with it. I remember trying to get my assistant anime and I'll she just she's obsessed with K drama. So that as plan. Somehow she went from animes K Drong, which is, I think, a lot of people's journey, apparently a lot of people's instructions. K Drama was somehow anime. I don't know how, but I feel like or anime might put people on tea. Yeah, I still I've actually likes, because then you find it adaptations by that yeah, exactly, and you find the Korean version, mich slaps, and then it much better. Green. A Korean live actions are way better than...

...the Japanese one. Like that's how I got into a like root into its few boys ever flowers. She's a really popular and action adaptation. Japanese one just okay, but then there was like a Chinese version and then like a Korean version, which I just they just hit different HMM, way into like that whole medium. No, I cried for boys on a flowers are called full but it was good. HMM. But yeah, anything we need to cover, name and shame anything. Yeah, we didn't name it. This name is sue. We naming and shaming. I didn't. I think bad anime adaptations and, you know, bad studios. And okay, let's go of Cabin Ay. But that's not that. That tatie. Oh yeah, we're slaundering a day. The Manga came afterwards. Does that count because we won't drop the anime? And No, I read the Manger said M wasn't good. Choke. Your going kingdom have a bad anime adoptions and they have the same studio. Coincidence? I think not. Yeah, so that studio is actually like, I don't know what animal they've done. That's actually good studio. Piero Ya Ya. That's IT, trash. They've never done anything work. So yeah, and bizzars as well. I feel like, Oh, Bazarre, did not get that. I just said it doesn't no idea. I have no idea, but I feel like, you know, I just I just want up. Was that to be where? I don't feel like they should even attempt to make an anime for it. Same with kingdom that. There's just some things you just don't. Just don't twnership, just don't touch it, just read it. I've seen I haven't read bizzark properly yet, but all the panels I see they look absolutely stunning and I've seen list of the anime adaptations and I just feel like it's the discuss. Is this the source material? Like the Manga look so good. I don't know how they could have messed it up. TERRORFORMERS ALME too. Let's always complains about that. It's racist. Oh God, it was so bad. It was just especially compared it to the first season. First season was really good, really entertaining, a lot of Nice special effects, the characters are drawn really well. The second season it was like a slap in the face. It just turned it's like going from a CNX show or a town army showed to like a you know, Nick Nick Tunes Rendition, it said, Dimon. Is that what happened? They Change Studios? Yeah, Oh my God. And the everything just got ridiculous. Colors. The colors got really childish, really playful for kids, sex in yeah, pretty much. Was it like a censorship issue or just like a creative direction? That was not it a bit both, right, I think. Yeah, if we're talking about good enemy adaptations, I think David prove done really amazing with Jojo's. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I agree. All right, he's an amazing artist that you know down there's certain like takestave, certain takes they have on certain stands and other characters they need. They just kind of up Dan tie like it looks amazing in the animal. Yeah, I already looks. So what good in the manger? So I think that's off the top of the day, off the top of the dame dusted ones enemies. I think it's done a really good job. Yeah, never read format weltms, but I hear that that's a good adapt as well. I mean the Brotherhood. Anyway. MMM, that's a great adaptation. Yeah, I was just about to suggest as an Animela in terms of like quality, as what's a dragon ball super but I remember that one episode when like was just like yeah, looking crooked. I don't know what it was, but I was just like, yeah, that's you did not come through that episode. But Quality Wise, I think I know guy. I don't know if you guys would agree, but when you watch the evolution of Dragon Ball in terms of quality from like the S, it's changed so much. Yeah, like it's adapted with the Times. Like I don't know if, like you're to get like a young person now to watch that and then you showed them the old stuff, that just be like this has been nice some upgrade. So definitely think if upgraded of the Times. Yeah, I've never I don't I'm not really watched dragon ball z like that, but I watched the movie in cinema and I have to say it's probably one of the best shown in movies I've watched, like the roly one. He Gre was. Yeah, I did know that I made anyway, was really, really, really good. I was impressed, but...

...it was amazing. It is a nothing coming to someone the dragon ball zy agenda. Like I was blown away. I was like, yeah, this is worth my money, like it was really good. Yeah, it was. It just me. He was watching the broly movie. I was watching it. Did the scene where I go KU and VIGITA. They get off the little spaceship thing like and they're like in the Arctic or whatever. Yeah, there were those Sab kid. Yeah, I need be jacket. I need it both colors, even though it's it's lime green or whatever. I need that one as well. And big hunting. It was nice. We do a family episode. Seeing I'll be sick. I'll happily discuss all the fashions. Listen, have to bleak first of all. Oh, bleach repeted it. That's the best thing about beach, the music and the fashion. Yeah, every episode, new new outfits, I thought, seven deadly sins as well. I don't know what animation film. My word, my Lord, this video change. What happened all because I've watched the first season and then I started second season, but I just thought, I don't know why I wasn't through the animation, but the screen shows that I'm seeing. They deserve gel time. They actually have blood in the hands, for that's what is going on. It's the one of many oldest line on the bed. His neck is that? Why does he look like that? It was just ridiculous joke. I was like, please, a psych this can't be what's on TV right now, like, no way, any money was prince. It is that what was going on. I was what what was that was a change of studio. Like, does anyone know what happened? There's something there was a reason for. I can't remember. It was either, like there wasn't change of studio, they changes years it. Okay, yeah, they did. Changes the studio. You and even the flight with what's his name, the Light Guy, the Sun Sunrise Guy. I can't rea's name, I just cannot. I don't know you. Then ESCO, yes, you know, he had a fight with manlio. This is brother, and in the Manga that was amazing, like it was one of the best fights in the mango. It was like too really really massive egos going at it and it was just really, really good it they oh yeah, the panels, the panels were amazing, all sorts. You see it in the anime. And again it's like Nickelodeon took charge of what's going on, because I do that badly. Like no one was. Honestly, it was just this so bad it was. It was actually embarrassing. I was thinking like no, you can't be serious, and I think that was the last episode I watched the IT. I just you know, I can't be bothered and and the worst of about is at the same time the Manga was pissing everyone off as well. It's just like nobody wanted anything to do that show. Yeah, that whole period. Yeah, behind that point. I wanted to pick up and I really like the first season. Actually got into and then I've been hearing avons complaining. I'm just that Hump yourftery best something that's just gonna like Piss me off. So I just dropped her. I was going to catch up and then I heard everyone bitching a by that I thought, yeah, actually don't have my list is too long. So if it was that bad, I didn't think it was that bad, but I don't have time the streets. I'm obviously still ten years behind the one piece I'm on them. Well, you need to catch up. I'm on fill a BOK. I just started fell a bok. You've been on for the body. How long now? Anyway, I know you the fact that there's some anime and Manga that you started that you're never going to finish. I think one piece might be one of them. You know, you really don't say that. Speak to existence. Come on, I finished. I've either already dropped everything else or I know I'm going to finish them, but one piece is so, so long. At me it's I mean not stock, because I am like loss this, we're going to get you through it. Completing the number. I'm looking at, nine hundred episodes on it is just possible. Dane as well, which is why I don't avenge it. Some thinking. If I take my time with it, I'm going to be a Spenster by the time I catch up, if I catch up, because only doesn't seem to be ending, unless you guys knew something I don't, because I've been even the thought of one piece ending. It breaks my ye like and I get headache, like let me just enjoy it just for another decade. Yeah, HMM, please, at least another decade. But I was actually quite sad when they are ended. Yeah, what to do? I've never finished. I've never finished bleached the Manga anyway. So I think those those I...

...will never finish unless bleach anime comes back, which they are. Room was last year or something and yeah, wow. So, yeah, if it comes back, then I think I might. If it doesn't finish the if like the anime doesn't reach the end of the manger going to might pick up again. But Nara's her, I don't think I ever finished. I think I got to the Ninja War Ark and yeah, I just just didn't finish it. Yeah, I takeing me. I got after the time skip. Shortly after that I like dropped it and I saw all the spoilers for the week up to the finale and I thought I didn't need to finish yet. Yeah, that's how it's for me. I think it's I told I never finished. Id Technically I finished very type. I didn't read everything. The very, very large want to see the ship. Yeah, I basically went on too. I was like show me the chractors of all the get Jav content and people lily and the epilog and as that's great, marked it is to be complete. What I never finished. Fairy Tale. We've done. I had enough. Every day come back to life. It was too cheesy. He sends s was crap man and everyone's topless. I had enough. Mom was a hundred episodes of that rubbish single episode. I just read it. You put yourself through that tods. I never read one of it. I read it. I could skip the whole of the ad last Ark because the ANA came back. I didn't care who is even as honor yeah, I mean she's just getting the way of seeing Zanya out of whatever. Even stupid names in that show, when everyone's very silly names. I can't remember them, as much as they will try to be remember what. I just can remember them like it was great fan, very tall any of Y. I think there's so many animes and mands I've picked up and dropped in the first few chapters. I'm slut wors. The worst thing about fairy tales that the fact that it made me realize that Raven muscles master. She's well rave. Muster was dead and I will in my head. Yes, listen, I watch the reason I watch if muster growing up. That was my childhood. I watched it as a kid when it was on CI TV or whatever it was. Yes, after school, after school, I remember watching it. I see it. I was so upset, yeah, when they stopped showing it, because I really liked that. I remember to talk about it to my friends. We left on the cliff and I did never finished it. Yeah, I see your pictures of Harry glory and his buster swords. I had. I had a jump jump superstars game boy advance and he was on it and he was my four character on it. That's how much I really liked it. And the was a fairytale special and I've Seen Harry glory and blue. I think you, what are you doing there? Then I realize I was the same right. And then my episode was horrific. It was so bad. It was so like I wouldn't let a four year old watch it because it's just it's too childish for you know. I mean it's Chans for for your on nine I knew Mashine my made fairy tell because that's the reason why I started fairy tell, because it was right off the back of Rave Masters, like, oh my gosh, he's making something else. Then we get into it and as a twelve year old, fairytale was slacking like no other. But as through the passage of time, it was amazing. I was only invested because of my ship. No diversity like now. Even zero has exact same. It's the literally COMP is in it. Are you doing? Isn't what you do? Not Original, originalized. He got OK and I just think, I just think he's going through some type of bonded, you know, because it's money. He's like, look, this is how I pump made. Just draw when you're still get in it, that you've seen happy in like three different type of series. It means just that's the bondage. Again, the characters. Bluemaster, right, and is in yeah, and in same name tell, yeah, can you imagine? Really deep in get, though, he's actually mental, cheaky, but I just not just make one like why don't move that one piece and just make one series and the same paracters without changing anything. I just need the penty years happily and keep the same universe. Saying Kara, yeah, and like...

...turn it in or something. You get that fifty percent, you know, play driving. Oh Gosh, Mat Hey. So I think we covered everything. Yeah, many final roasts from a new one. What's his name? Is Shima? We've to rast him again. He needs to making animals completely mind. Give it a wrest man. He's just stop creating period. He needs to animate the new blue squoz or something. Suggestion to what he should go into, but I'll say that one of a time. Yeah, course he should have just done like similar to what's his name again, Narutus Crey off? Could these names completely left my mind. She Marta, that's it. Kishimoto went to go and do new mango about Ninjas and stuff, and I'm just like, I was dense, just I was like just she just left it where you were lived on the routed legacy as your work, the twins, and so machinema should just done the same thing. That should just make fixed. That's it, like, don't even bother making mind ever again. You didn't summos makes and do Jens, because he will say, I should mashamshure transfer all his energy in the new project you wants to do and give it to Tagashi. That that I'm happy with. Just try you give it to I would say, Oh, dope, I don't want him distract it from one piece. So just don't give it anyone. Just keeping forceselfs that. Just let it die. Yeah, just no one wants to see happy in a fourth series. That please. So, yeah, I don't have anyone else. On the rest, I think. I think that's it really. Yeah, yeah, guys, it's really Nice finding out about everyone's journey into anime and manger. I really enjoyed them and so, yeah, it will be back really soon.
