So, Hi guys, and thanks. Touching the end to the twenty two episode of the four as academia podcast. Today I am joined by Abby, Hey, tid's hey, Chris, Yo money. Hello everyone. Cool. So today's episode we're going to be talking all about psychological animes. We're going to get deep into this, going to be in sort of an analysis, you know how we do get for as academia. But before we get started all that, we're going to look at some we're going to discuss some of the recent news topics. So let's jump into that first. So first up on news. Well, Nintendo thing. News is that Nintendo shuts down Super Smash Rose Tournament for using mods to play online. So, according to the verge, the tournamant is so this Super Smash First Tournament is being canceled, followed by a legal order by Nintendo. So it's using one of the biggest smash competitions and they're not so that're going to be shining at down. So I don't know what that means, but you, Nintendo Lot. You just gotta let me know like it's this bad. I mean everyone, yeah, everyone knows how protectively to d is over their IP, like any time, like I'm mode gets to be popular, you can just expect the lawyers to come knocking. So I'm not surprised by this, even though it is disappointing. As want to add. Yeah, I think with Nintendo there they obviously really strict with what you can and can't do with their titles, but they also strict with their titles in particular, so certain things like, you know, voice chat, those kind of features of stuff that they don't typically adding in the way that most people would like them to add in. And I'm not sure I haven't seen a feature that was actually modified. I'm sure it was something to help with with with the net code, so to reduce lag or to stop people picking certain characters or something on those lines. I'm sure something that was trying to make the game more fair than it was created. But in in doing that, I mean they was risk getting shut down by Nintendo. Nintendo has shut down superstimes prose melee competitions in the past just because they didn't want their game to be associated with that fighting game setting. So they always shed nothing nice. Anyway, I think it's sad and I think nintend on need to do better in terms of correspondence with a lot of the fighting gay community people who are running tournaments, especially the major ones, and I mean hopefully they can resolve it somehow and get it we started sometime in the near future. I never thought of it that way because I don't know whether that's just like a Fang thing or just like from officially from Nintendo, that melee or smash brothers as a as a game. Is it meant to be like a competitive game. Isn't like a party game kind of thing. But yeah, that would make sense as to why they keep I'm not sure what's what was it was? It definitely MELA. It was my lay. Okay, yeah, so it would if the tournament, you technically be modern the tournament because obviously the game is game came out in two thousand and two so there's a lot of issues and things that they may have corrected by modifying the game. But again, intended just don't want there their game touched. It's happened loads of times in the past. To be honest. People Voice struggled with smash tournaments and hosting and running slash burrist tournaments as from nintended boys. As to money, I have nothing to add to this discussion of value. It's just two thirds of the intended boys are here right now. Obviously cool until the next topic. So this is from comic bookcom at Kirby Morow has passed away at age forty seven, coming at devastating you use for and of his roles in Dragon Ball, Zaid, Anyasha, stargate, Atlantis and much more. The news came as a shock to fans who watched him voice go Ku and Dragon Ball, Z D whole in Ninjago, Morocci in Yasha and cyclops in x and evolution. So I wasn't personally familiar of his work because I never watched dragon born English. So I know you guys grew up watching the English version, obviously. So how you know? How does this come us to you guys? Yeah, it was sad to me, especially...

...since he's he was forty seven. That's really yas young. So that's yeah, it's really tragic. And Yeah, obviously I was most familiar with him is the voice over Troua in the dub of Gundam Wing, it was a good dub, and as the English voice for Goku, because I cannot stand to Gooki's Japanese voice even after like childhood, when I had a choice, I'd still think cheese the dove just because of that. So yeah, yeah, I think he's really sad. You he's one of those names, even if you don't watch dubbed Anime, to a big degree that I it's like a familiar name, is Kirby Morrow U lawend or Seawan Sham or all those guys. So yeah, it's a loss. So, according to the Anime News Network and you cogs, project is set to be undersprailled on December the fifth, so couple weeks to go. So we don't really know much about what that project is, but I'm really excited to find out more because, remembering what the last episode was like of the Anime, it kind of gave those vibes that we would hopefully get another anime to continue on in the future. So it'll be cool with their announcement will be about that. But what you guys think that? What do you think they're going to unvail? How many seasons are there too? There was two and they came up the same time, or was there like a big there was like a big, big break of think the second season always I felt more of it wasn't a time scipe. I felt like that. I felt like it was a bit separate. For the first one, there was a bit of a time interval, wasn't it? I don't recall by might be because if I did feel very much different from the first second one, the ending of called Gearsus, without exploilers, pretty much concluded the the whole song was going on from the beginning to the end. To be honest, that I was kind of happy with the ending. I wasn't really expecting for a third part and the future of what was going to happen to in that world was pretty much left up in the air with the way they ended. But I was fine with that. I didn't really need to know what happened after that and our people were going to live from then on. I was as kind of pleased with without in the to be fair, but against kind of to explain it us and not spoilers. Doesn't man like a spin off? Yeah, yes, the one in wonderland. Yeah, that based after the events of the end of season. Deed, I'm sure they were afterwards. If it was a quiply oltimate university, and it yeah, it might been. I don't had a different version of CT and the person who was warding them, guess was, was a different guy. Only watched season one halfway and I got both. Really, I tried to keep up with it because if I say on your Kay Gass is so good, so good, okay, but then I just thought, why am I forcing myself? I got this other shit. Oh my list. So that's clog like what it's like? What black log? Okay, what is your back shit? So, what of a younk? He's open here to defend himself. Oh my God. But from this announcement I was like it could even be another spinoff, like not only wonderland, or like a mobile game. Oh A, shouldn't think that. I'm I don't care for its benest. I just said projects and then nothing. Yeah, Um, I'm indifferent to it. I here was that was that enemy full the spinoff? It was just the one. Go if there was a one. Yeah, is there a guess? Is An anime like Ori, only right, there was a body. But this about the spoon off? Was that? Was that made into animis? Oh, okay, I'm sure there was. There is a light novel. Yeah, these, even if it starts off as an animal, you should get Manga adaptations, but it was an anime first color. I get about favorite. They don't be care about it as much as I actually did it. Joe Your years. He doesn't want to yea. Well, I just leave it like, leave as is. I don't tell. Yeah, I mean I really don't like things. I don't know if it's going to be an anime like season three, but when it's such a big gap between the first release in the second and never really bangs like ever for anything, like books and never bands. When prison break came back, I'll stop set. It was tree crash, because this is a break. Qutress from three, season three of four. Yeah, but then it got even worse. The trash it was season four past. It was even worse when it came back. So it's just leave it. I think that of those things this usually they when they made their product of their time, so they're relevant to whatever period of time they're created in, and then after that it just doesn't hit the same e steer, not even...

...just in anime and movie, you see in music as well. So it's the how do you feel about it? If she's like it's the most excited for it. Yeah, I like codf I remember. I think the reason I like to the most is because after I'd finished watching death note, I was looking for something else and when you just google psychological anime, code, code, you gias yeah, to every pronounce it always kept popping up. But I can't lie, I didn't enjoy it first because I found that art. I think not art looks so weird, so I had to get used to it. But storyline wise, I will I was getting my like definite type fix. That's why I like terms of show. HMM, that's it for news. So let's get into and topic. So today, I'm so twenty two, we're going to talking all about cym ecological animes. So I think great way to start this part of the episode is if everyone can tell me what what is psychological anime to them, like what makes what makes such psychological anime? I found a really good definition online, so I can't remember I found it, but psychological anime is to find as of an anime when two or more character prey on each other's minds, either by playing deceptive days with the other or by trying to demolish the others mental state. So I like that definition. It's quite simple. Basic, but I want to hear from you guys. I guess to me it's any anime that kind of like bells into the human psyche and chest to work up, like people do certain things. I do think in Cerin ways or like asks more questions. So where the lines are blood in terms of like who the heroes or antagonists are, things like that. Yeah, that's a really amorphous definition, but yeah, that's why kind of definance. Yeah, I think for me, similar to Stell's, usually a battle of wits and morals, contrasting morals and opinions and just in characters trying to, you know, impose their will or impose their feelings, their face onto other characters, be it through force, Spirit psychologically, but it's usually a battle of like mental states in Anime, I find. I find they usually try and make you think, they shock you, not in the actions but in the ration now behind actions. And Yeah, I mean they they just need a lot more attention when you're watching those, those kind of shows. Another finish, I guess. Yeah, I think it's when you know, you look at the mental state of the characters and you know their decisionmaking is really important as well, how they handle different environs, aments and dilemmas. And Yeah, that's what I think as well. What about you, manny? Psychological enemy is probably anemy that more for me, personal enemies that make you think quite a lot about individual characters and the reality behind it, stuff that dolls into people's decision making and understanding how the bring works. In a sense, those are probably the main elements that for me to class something that's a psychological enemy. Right. Thanks, guys, and with that being said, I really want to hear which are your favorite psychological Animez and why that? As we said in the start, we don't get some analysis. Yeah, so let's go. I just want to say that I'm a fraud, big fraud. I'm a massive fraud, because I thought I watched a lot of psychological anime, but I don't at all. I think the only ones we mentioned code Gias, definitely, and I guess I recently start watching psychopaths and I didn't finish it. So those are the only ones I've watched. So, yeah, I'm a fraud. We can skip be you never got to finish them, cyclebox, because they're recording today. How you finding it so far? Sycopass is amazing. Like. It's actually amazing. I wish I watched it earlier, like I tried to...

...do a thing where I watched the first ten and then watch the last two, but I didn't even want to ruin it. I just don't know. I want to watch the whole thing, see how everyone's like stories develop, all their characters are, decisions that they make. I wanted to see every scenario and how they dealt with it. I don't want to skip it to the end to see like the final showdown, because I know I've seen clips of the fight between my shoot machine me car, my Kashima, Ma Kashima and the main guy and I was like no, I need to see the backstory behind that first. This amazing, really, really good. I don't mind if the whole thing is about psychopaths, by the way, so we can get into I'll talk about it. I don't mind. I haven't watched a single episode of psycho fasts and I was not to you. So love upon lay here. Wow, okay, listening shots for poll lay is going on short. He doesn't watch animally. Okay, but yeah, I thought I was cultured, but when I looked at my animal list, I've any what's like five or so, unless there are others that could be class the psychological and is just they can not as black and white as that. So I think I've got Munster by it. So our fully coolie raised, which I wouldn't have class the psychological, but when I looked as I think it is cycologic. Is Paprica, obviously such as fun. You've watched perfect blooner. I've not watched perfectly. I haven't. So that's another one. Yes, it might start raised fully. After write this shit down, because it was start raised fully cooly PAPRICA. Is that it not? Definitely, no, I'm not. I've not another fraud, another, but I'm sorry. She's a bigger fool. Classics Lisin actually know, but sometime thought I was gonna Watch. Definitely I wouldn't know how everything happens. It's like when something's been spoiled for you. I'm just like I've a monivation to watch it. I've can. Certainly I don't see. You can small psychological animal at that. You know, and I think I know. I know how and when the main character dies. Like least that's irrelevant. I didn't care how he did. Sorry, the whole story was way more important than his death. Flies death was just you knew he was gonna die eventually. Yeah, you knew his power. Would you know, like the evil must end at some point. But I would promise you all I will watch deafinitely, but I haven't even finished one piece yet. So until I finished one, please, I'm not doing anything to anyone. So yeah, that's it. Shot him right away. Excuse me, what it would wow, well, I'm meeting myself. I U so so I was dried. By the way, we already know clip. This good. I'm thinking of the Hashtag right now. Hopefully money and Chris weren't disappointed. I might just do that to be fair. Best come across. To be fair. Ready mentioned cooed Gias and definitely probably like ones that are watched fully early on. Sack up outs and one knows, mentioned that. I really did enjoy, I think, season one in season two. What season one more so. It's a really amazing enemy. Season Two is really good to I haven't watched the third one. I even completely forget exists and watch the first season, which I then to and never finished watching steins gate. A lot of people mentioned a great it was. I think it was the first episodes, and this was during the time where I was watching a lot of enemies. I want, and that's got buried under, which is something that need to pick up. One. Would you class goes to the show as a psychological animey a hundred percent at that? Yes, forgot. Yeah, so what's six? That was? That's probably the first psychological animy I watched the same. I watched it enough seem to really understand it. I had to say back and watch it again. Same afterwards. Watch that SIFA channel on Skye. Actually, my uncle who got me in too, like saying an enemy animes, to collect anime DVDs. So yeah, I'd guess I collected addition the DVD as like yeah, I watched pokemon and Jackan Wol Zeen Salem and let me watch ghosts in the Shell and obviously to understand anything because I was like nine. But then I went back afterwards, after Gett anime like properly, and I watched it and then, yeah, so does a few enemies that I've watched, which I'm not a hundred seven sure if I can class it as psychological. Note. Would you guys class Paris set as a psychological anyway. Yeah, no one. There's a lot of this. There's a lot of psychological elements, to be honest. I think you could. I think you make the argument for it. I think you good. I think good. Those are the ones that come to mind. The might be a few others that probably the back...

...of my head somewhere, or maybe just haven't watched any. Okay, I want your favorite. Chris. All right, looks like really I'm not really US I'm not really that much of a condos Sol but I guess I've watched most of the ones we've said. I haven't finished. I could pass. I've watched all the others we've mentioned ready. The ones that'd add to it, I'll probably terran residents. Okay, so that was a good one. That was to do with you had like it was that genius kids kind of think like characters L L and in definite. So they similar to that and they were essentially just going to carry out a terrors plot and it just goes into everything behind that detective trying to figure out who they are. The other ones, I've watched death parade. I think that's a very interesting one. That was mostly to do with it was like the afterlife. So it's kind of it was psychological, but it was more of a battle between a personal person and themselves. So it was really interesting. I think it got really sad at some points. Actually perfect blue, which we mentioned earlier. So so she cone, which is really, really good. I think I preferred it to Paprika, to be honest with you. Really interesting, crazy twist at the end as well. Also, I've got here Kaiji, the gambling anime, which I'll yeah, I'd consider Kaiji. I forgot to consider Kaigi a psychological it's it's shown in but it's weird. The majority of the elements in it are psychological. All the decisions behind, why, I certain, as are done the raw psychological between the characters, and I think I know you could could, Yep, would you done class? No, giving on life is a cology, psychological, psychological. Good Back Kaggury. That one's surprised me because you could, you could argue seeing it, but I'm just it's I just don't put Kaka, Kakagury and psychological together because I've seen some definitions for what they class the psychological anime and it's playing mind games with the characters. So in that aspect I guess it could be class but is classed as a psychological anime if you search it. Hmm, I think it's an interesting point. Crey suport off about Kaiji saying or, even though it's shown in, it has a lot of elements of psychological anime and just reminded me one of my favorite like series of all time, the flowers of Evil Akunahana. Then if you guys saw in my st clips of the anime, of the anime, because people would like satin of it, because it's like rotoscoping, but I read the Manga and Youm so that's why I forgot it. But that's actually class of psychological as well and it's a shown in, but it gets into really like dark. It's really like dark coming of age story. Yeah, actually got, I don't have to go that. I got like would the volumes over here. But yeah, that's a really good one. Yeah, yeah, what else have I seen? Yeah, paranoid agent. It's a weird one. It's got like loads of different opinions, no, so a perspectives, all of the same thing, all of some sort of urban legend. It just gets really, really strange and I think it's definitely worth watching. But yeah, I think those rules I can think of off the top of my head. I know some people do class are zero as a psychological and I can hear it a bit, but I think I'd argue it just has psychological elements, which is another discussion entirely, because there's loads of anime that maybe showing in or maybe just action or battle anime, but have a lot of psychological elements in the story. I think there's characters and are e zero that kind of embody that the untagginess, but psychological as all that, I see why people do it. Yeah, because he could almost see why someone would classify something like hunter ex hunter as a psychological anime, especially with the current Manga. I could definitely see why some would cussify that as a psychological well, your form system, how come? Because I'm...

...not I haven't caught up to like the most recent chapter, so I can't kind of come back at that. But I'm just thinking back to hunt hunter as a whole and to say I'd agree to the certain extent that get there are moments that touch on psychological themes, but to say that it's a psychological anime, I have to disagree. No, I don't think I'd call it a psychological anime. But if you use, for example, of us to take the latest arc in its own and just put that out, let's se animated that and put that out and distributed that, people would think that was a psychological enemy. There's very, very little combat. Everything is just cerebral. Everything so far in that in Ark. I'm to catch up, then yeah, it's probably the best, probably the best arc in the entire series currently, I think. Yeah, yeah, well, you guys are listed or well, then an amaze. The list is my favorites, one being psycho, past death, parade and monster. Haven't finished yet, but from episodes I've watched up until this moment, I will definitely say that by a time I finished watching it, I would put it like we are my top three. Like psychological animes, for sure. It are. Sl is the good everything. You're right, I need to start collecting the stuff. Ever since we went to his exhibition. Yeah, the exhibition, I was like, yet when you start letting, when you can well star, I still start twenty century boys. It's all about like cults and or this. This is really good. Fire or sorrow as well, or sorry as well. Everything by Your sorrow, but read that one after. You wants to after monster. You sent your boys. Yeah, he got it. So money. Were you gonna say something that cut your failier? No, I'S gonna ask us that same personally monster about on to that or before that, I remember. So just before I move on to the next question, I want to ask you guys, when you think about psychological animes genre, do you think it gets as much, I'd say, like traction and and use when you compared to other genres? And, if so, like why? Why not? Think we great to kind of get into that. I think sales or a big part of it, like battle showings or is going to be the most popular of any season, like ever, just because I think the appeal is wide ranging enough. Is this of the risk like even and every season everyone watches the same like handful of anemy. But actually, if you actually, if you actually look at every animal that comes out every season, there's like twenty or thirty odds and most of them will be that typical like light novel kind of enemy adaptation or some kind of battle showing in so there's a few standout every night. Again you get you get like that stand out one each season. Like I remember when Zank you Matar came out and when psychopathic actually came out. Everyone was talking about them at the time, but there but the fact that you can like pinpoint ones like that she's actually did it get as much attention? Is the battle shows? Yeah, I think it's just because of the demographic like young and old people can enjoy showing in at least genuinely, but the same can't be said for mature psychological anime. HMM. Do you think psychological like anime or Manga? Is it better to read the Manga than is to watch the anime? Do you think or do you not? Does it just depend on how well it's adapted? Yeah, I think it's about the adaptation. One thing I will say about psychological friller adaptations is that for the most part most of the ones I know and I can think of have been adapted very well. Maybe it's because there's not many, but for the most part, from what I've seen, they always done really well. There's obviously less action. They don't need as much in terms of animation. There's a lot of still shots, a lot of speech. I feel like the voice actors have a lot of weight in there. On their shoulders. They've got a big job to do when it comes to those kind of anime be because it becomes one of the most prominent bits. You can get away with having a crappy voice actor in Naruto or bleach, or especially bleach, but it terms of in terms of a psychological anime, how things are said are very, very important to get statements and points across, because that's the entire waging of the anime. I think another thing I can...

...compare that to you is if you remember when the Jingi to collection anime came out and it was so highly scipated, and then and how he was released, it was so underwhelming. And it's a similar thing, because it's not the art action packed scenes, word Banal scenes and that most of it is dialog and just like atmospheric and stuff. So I think in terms of the sound designer was okay and anything, you've got that right, but this is something about the direction of it and the production of it that fell flat. So like. But when you read Jinguta's Manga, is really atmospheric, you can get scared like reading it. But when there was adapted into annually, you think that would be even scarier. But it's the opposite happened. So I think the studios and the voice actors, all those things, they could really make or break an adaptation. Yeah, I don't think they get her her anemy right. You know, I don't think I've watched shower animy that I've preferred over the Manga, so maybe they're just yeah, yeah, I think it's in general it's hard for me to enjoys and it's the moments in anime as much as I do Manga. HMM, could you imagine like, for example, good night pump on? Oh my God, could you imagine that? It's just it's just the name of vision. No, but be animated would be horrible. Yeah, I don't even do hearing his voice. I I didn't. Don't put a voice to him. I didn't put anything to him. He was just a bud like. I can't imagine him being animated moving and how they would, you know, just if it came out, I wouldn't watch it. I think I wouldn't. It would ruin my pressing experience. Huh, part of what made it so good is those still shots. Oh my gosh, good night pimp in. Psychologically, no one even mentioned it. We've already, because I don't want to remember. Man, because the Manga, I guess we're talking about psychological mangas a whole after we talk about both. But okay, well, it's all about both. I mean I mentioned flowers of evil and I didn't watch the anime for that. I read even all right, that is my list longer. Yeah, it's good anime. Guys are just read Manga. It's good night pomping worth getting. Yes, I'm going to connect that next. Actually, just don't come back to us if you become depressed. Yeah, the BG. It's just worry. It's just I don't get why he made it. Like if you a son, stick in ahead and he I rich. You had to read an interview because I wanted to understand why he made it, and he just said I just wanted to fuck you guys up, and he was like he's so, he's so sickening, like really real things, right, hiss me off more than reading BNGARLIA. I know he's actually a sicker. It's read it, so I'm interested. It's really good, you know it is. It's imagine you have a show where everything goes wrong and then you think you know what things can only get better, and then it just get worse. Just this one and then it ends. Yeah, the ends like it just as on cut gems. But yeah, it's ten. It was sup first, be sure, than it was as well. Apparently was spokes like seven volumes, where he extended it to fourteen volumes and ply he didn't. He didn't like it when people gave him good feedback, as then when he started, when people start enjoying it, that's when he disliked it the most. All Right, I love him. Are you set to buy? Everything is done? He's current one. Is He dead? Demon's DDD he destruction, which I haven't started yet, when looks really cool. Whe Else's he done? He's done. But so seln in, that was depressing as fuck as well. So it's so joe. Anything about good. The thing is it's it's just a little bit worse each time. Yeah, that's the thing. They give you a base and it doesn't like there's no major thing that keeps happening. Yeah, just slowly, slowly. So I like it actually feels like it's happening to you as well. It's like, yeah, going through the same kind of depression that he's going through. That's it feels like us. Yeah, you can't you. You're him, like yeah, you see him from a child and you literally see him progressing, you know, through childhood and then adulthood, and it's like you, you feel his decisions, like as if you're making it. He's music. There's a certain event towards the end. I know you all know what I'm thinking of. Where it happened? was that a double page spread? HMM, and you turned the page. I was like Ang on about it. Really should have been surprising, given the way the story was going. was like, no, he did it, but that's it's get a really and I was just like well, hot was so heavy, but like, I'm almost finished, so I does need to keep good. It's like someone one of you a dumb are so every single day for like seven years, every chap that first it's...

I's not that bad, but by the time you get the end of it, the damns is done. To use this when you he of the crack pipe. Let's go. Yeah, we'reo read definitely ever comes out on anime. Don't even bother. I'm very it's really good on that and I would recommend flowers and even as well. No, one year, as heavy as contain, but still in the same kind of like spirit. Is a show and it's becoming of age story, but it does, if the whole, like self loathing and then make psychiatric disorders and things like that, and it's like like what's it called? And what's that? What's that? What's it called in net fiction when you unreliable narrator or that kind of stuff? Oh really, yeah, it's Susy, but it's eleven volumes. Are you even look back for a reference? I didn't take cool. So next point, what I want to know from you guys is because we were all, because you all watch some psychological animes that we've enjoyed and disliked, have there been any particular themes that have been that kind of struck out to you guys that you enjoy seeing when you watch psychological animes? So, for example, one of the things that I'd like to see, which particularly shine in definite, was all about morality and kind of a conflicts around like seeking justice and things like that. So you know how and I definitely like it was right people's names and he thought he was doing a good thing and it kind of make people question and kind of think, okay, he's doing this, is a good thing, but is it right and should he even be doing it? And there's a kind of things that I've liked to watch. So what about you guys? I think I like similar to you. I like it when I can watch an anime and it's like it's not been spoon fed to you, like Oh, this is who you're meant to root for and this is the bad guy, because I think, in hindsight, that's what I found and underwhelming about. Raised wasn't the main reason. I just felt like certain characters were just plot devices and the main character was just too competent. For whatever reason. He was like a nobody. There's a bunch of plot holes. By Times you fect me reached a resolution with the antagonist, it will just became really predictable, like it was like a gradual thing. It just like a sain point. You did what was gonna happen and it happened exactly how you would have assumed. So yeah, I think I haven't started psycopas yet or tearing resonance, But just from the synopsis I feel like the ones that would handled out a lot more cohesively and I might enjoy it more and also once a bit more abstract, like Paprica. First Time I watched it I was like, Oh, I really wish I enjoyed that more. But yeah, all over my head, but I went back to watch it again and I enjoyed it a lot more, sad, I think. Yeah, there's ones where it's just kind of like it blurs the lines between the reality and like whatever goes on in people's heads. Enjoy that more and yeah, HMM, okay, one thing that I enjoyed about sorry, one thing I enjoyed about sid of all else, was questioning whether you have free will or not. So anything like that is my druck. So yeah, I really enjoyed that. That's one of my favorite things. Yeah, similar to what I still said. I do enjoyed the enemy to questions morality, whether something's over, something's good in evil, or if they such things and things that look particular things are looking to the great area of those things. But also something that like is the God complex when it comes to psychological enemies, such as obviously here out and and Leach, to an extent where you think that you're because you have this amount of power, that whatever you do should be absolute and is she should have an you should be able to control, I guess, the outcome of of the world just because you think it's right to do so. So the Gold God complex within enemy characters in psychological enemy is probably one of my favorite concepts. I also really like coming of age stories in psychological anime. So like I don't evenyone else's watch fully cruly. I think that's like a textbook example of that. It's basically, I'm everything's an allegory to something else. Like it's a teenage boy, he's like girl growing up and going through everything that you always get through, but there's like an alien invasion and who's other shit that he has to like contend with and just...

...anything has like everything that metaphor for something. It means something. And Yeah, HMM, there's elect twenty of century boys. Know that one's more like betwny sentry boys. There's more like, okay, this is you're the forces of evil in the story and these are boys who are going to like iffeat the evil. But I guess a lot more complex than that, the more the story develops and it's just a bunch of different things. And then there's twenty one century boys or the all adults of their own families and just how everything like that changes the tone. But yeah, HMM, I guess of me I'm quite like some of the revenge plots in psychological anime. How far do you go before you obtain justice? Who would you label as casualty or collateral? What extent can you go to in order to see justice? I do enjoy some of those plots. I've seen it where, I mean you've probably seen it in a lot of anime, where a character starts out with a good cause, but along the way there's plenty of casualties and plenty of people they harm and hurt just on their roots at you, their goal, and then we start thinking, is their goal really worth it it? You know, I mean there's does does the end and justify the means? All of those kind of questions come into your head. I think we also have a plot to similar to you even want me still said earlier, when people, when you look at a great area, because usually starts off with, like you said, somebody doing it for for justice prevent the ends up, I guess, doing things that's not really justifiable to to ensure he gets what he thinks is is the right outcome or something griffish. Yeah, I was actually going to say imagine following Gryfi Story. That's the same thing. Yeah, you mentioned that in previous episodes about like whether our views of Griffith would be different had we followed his story. Yeah, I don't think it would be that different, but yeah, it would. That's what he's describing as if you were to watch griffith story and how it progressed. I've done good with Edi. And just one more thing that I wanted to add to that, just around themes, is that one thing that I have noticed of psychological animes is that I tend to kind of think about the type of influences that either are writers or studios or wherever have have taken and the new is within the plot. So we've all watched psycho passed right, minus tood I. What were yeah, I voted a bit, which a bit. I think maybe pople to finish the feel really okay, cool, but let'm not stow nothing. But like in the earlier episodes, I think it's like maybe episode two three when we get introduced to Makashima Shoga, we start learning a little bit more about him. I read those this particular scene like set in his house or somewhere or like secret location, and there was like a book. There was like a George or well, one thousand nine hundred and eighty four book in the actual anime. HMM. Well, I saw that. I thought to think about like how that ties in with the overall plot of psycho pass. You know, they living in a dystopian setting. Their individuals in there, all their actions are controlled by, you know, technology and things like that, and when you look at the book one thousand nine hundred and eighty four, it actually goes into detail about what the downfalls are of living in society like that. So I think that made it even that much more interesting to know that this is where this thing's been taken and incorporate into this anime, which actually been even more and those are the Cupe of things that I like to pinpoint out. But you have to you have to be looking really capfully and you actually seeing that Anima, that the book is, that she there, so that I can appreciate in that the creation of anime like that. HMM. So interested. I shall finish something past some time in the near future. I'm gonna facetagonist, really interesting character yeah, I've got what's my dead life for one piece ten, because I can't do that now. Something two thousand and twenty. What like the end? Okay, that I'M gonna catch out to the Manga. I probably catch up in the day.

I'm not as far as the for I was well before the thousand and I'm on nine seventy. Oh you can. Okay, yeah, catch up before the set the thousands. EF. You know. Can you imagine? I was up to day up until like six nine five, and that's how long I haven't read one piece. Six Ninety five. I was up to day six ninety five, six ninety five, ninety six five, believe it, nine years ago, years ago, nine ninety six five and chapter nine six five, and then I didn't. You did not read it. So that's how many read I was. I was on chapter nine thirty five when I something long then, if I had sixty plus chops to catch up to you, and I did it all this face of two days. I was banging out the mango and I don't know. I even want to talk about kingdom. I do you know? Oh, no, bro sweet the Mamore, no, don't. Don't watch anemy, don't ever works. Okay, fair, you still watch one piece anime. I was being bullied a you know I'm weak, but now no one's how do is? Have you gone to my mention so I can have you gone for Nope, she's got a long way to go. I'm in. I'm already. I know what's on now. I think I stopped watching. The man caught up by Christmas. It's because I keep on dropping. But our SCIRIT. Yes, the man stop reading the One pitch man go at the same time I stop the Kingdom Ango. So I will say it's behind on one piece. It will happen. Yeah, the magazine and color. Why am I watching? Let me get the same. So what's the same? No, no, was the saying. I literally stopped reading when Mangus was it Mangusta Stream, mangle Rock, when rock stopped, went down, everything were out of window. Yep, I agree. That was me too. I stopped reading every Manga as soon as Mangaro, even one piece. I just have to catch up. Out to it last week, two weeks ago. Can thems a myth? I heartly imagine reading that without mangarock. Yeah, everyone could pathetically. What I was gonna ask you guys was in terms of other ecological thrillers. So in terms of a medium's books, TV shows, movies, what would be your favorite over the years or just generally? I don't know. I got one. What's that movie when the woman pretends that her husband killed her and she disappears from und gone and I made twods watch that recently as well. I had to see reaction spiring what it was like. Yeah, I'm Le Begin like wait, no, I can't play back her. You've really you want to root for her, but you know he has really good I'm gonna be working real with you or not. I'm going to be really, really real. Yet I thought it'd a like it. Towards the end of the movie, I like her and then at right at the end, I was like, you're a bit hated it for the entire thing and then right at the end I was like, you're sick. You like to at the end when she was a bit like, you know, it's her husband is such an unsympathetic care exactly. It makes her look good, but really she's just as terrible, just as stopped. And again she's it's just because my husband is just so unsympathetic either and that's care what happens to him, and that's what she knew. Yeah, either, and she made on that. Love her for up, but I like momentor your queen. Yes, and in very yes, in really some time, he might be sometimes, you know, you could take a page out of the book. Yeah, she made some points. She's made some points. That that little monolog where she was talking about Bron Cool Yairl the cool go on. I know, Chris Scringey, but I'm anyway, we're talking about memento or momentor is elite. Here. We talked about knowing and many see, here we go. Oh, Bro, momentor is a I keep telling you Christopher is a fraud. Oh, Risher is a fluid. This is brother. That doesn't work. Oh, yeah, don't doesn't work. Yeah, all his best films, he's Best Films, dialog, are all ones. That Jonna Poenas what done which every one, and that's same person, I mean person of interest, west world, personal interest was lit. I completely forgot about that show, you know. Yeah, just pleasing. I love watch that first season. But...

...really good, Chris, I'm convinced. Well, movie I was so disappointed with was Tenet. Oh my God, how? I? How? Wait, how and how what you me? How is it's? What is it? What is this me? Okay, let's discuss. Go on. I pay for the kick its watch on my birthday. Yeah, it's locked down a for our cool. Let me treat myself to watch this movie right for and I was like what is this shit? What even? Just didn't get it. Listen, what did I get it? It's not. It's not supposed to be that complicated, like what was going on? That is actually happening here, which is I'm sorry, it's just it's just not a good like. It's just not like good. You can, you can enjoy it. You can say you enjoyed it, but I didn't joy I have mixed reviews about turn it all. I watched it, but the reviews are mixed. Not so I watch abby. Do you not watch it, says, I mean, if you're gonna watch a watch, I spent day pound on articular. I did like spect. I'm gonna know what were your fist I watched it in the Odeon dying place. That okay, Oh yeah, it was about a tree. I was Oh my God, I'm so excited. So, Piers, it was because Christ and then by were like yeah, it's amazing. I was the okay, it will trust their taste. I left. I left that Ellie. I was like I have somewhere else to be, like ad reservation. Left early. I left. I left litch not if I started tell you leave. I'm sorry, but I never leave movies early. I had to. I was I'm not seen food is from my birthday. Like it. I do not believe you left to any in the film, which to say the movie was trash. Okay, that's the first time I've ever left the movie early, like literally ever. I wonder why, anyway, because nothing else is trashed. Well, I thought it was. I thought it was a really, really good movie. The premise is nothing unique. Essentially, they found a material that causes things to go in reverse, essentially, and it is complicated and it can be hard to understand everything on the first watch. I definitely get that. But in terms of the way the atmosphere of the movie, in terms of the action scenes, the actors were really, really good as well. What's his name? Denzel Washington, Son, he was really good hed time. David Washington. Yeah, David Washington, Yeah, David John, John, David Washington. Something I don't know, but he was good. What's his name? Batman, Robert Patterson? Yeah, he was really good. He was really good as well. I woman, the tall woman, I think I like. Yeah, she was good as well. The villain, not so great, in my opinion. I did not like him. No, so great, but as character. But in t you walked up film. Mean I tho was like half an hour, maybe forty five minutes left of it. So you don't know how it ended. I don't care to that. Literally, for the first time ever, opinion on this is you mean, so I have to watch? No, I'm sorry, like, if I didn't enjoy two hours of it, why is it going to change in the last half an hour? Wrong, was it bro exactly? It was that three hours? My mentors probably a seven, ten or eight. I'll give it eight. At Ten before the last twenty minutes when it does, I don't feel yeah, that's momentor but then by actually enjoyed moment to throughout, though. How wants to know what's happening? I didn't care to know what's happening in this movie. Like I didn't draw me in. You know, I didn't care for the I've gone. It's easy to get lost in the movie. If you lose you know what, you probably got here anything, I think. I think it would be DNING, youtb dining and okay, yeah, what was going on this? Relax, if I watch at home. What is glassome water? No, popcorn. Who is the point? Book? Certain kind of type of intelligence to what's that pen Christ, you know the whole and make sure you're able to pause it. Is this a university degree? Like, what are you doing right? I'll be honest, if you go to the bathroom during that movie, you might missing. I usually go to Boto, but it isn't something that I think I would have enjoyed in the cinema anyway. I think something like that I would have prob I would definitely, definitely recommend you guys watch it, definitely and just be aware of...

...the fact that it does take a lot of mind power to understand everything, but once you get it, is it satisfying sense and it's kind of run thing. It's not true. It's that the beginning of the movie, basically he says he's done on purpose and the way it sounds, I think it was done on purpose. A lot of people aren't going to like it. I wasn't the biggest fight of it. During the start of the movie it's hard to hear the conversations. They all wearing mosques, I'm sorry, helmets, and I think it's meant to build that kind of atmosphere, but in my opinion you still want to hear what these guys are saying. You can't hear it. It's just not as clear and this was in cinema. I don't know if they will change it for future releases. I don't think he wants to from the comments he's made, but it's just the beginning. Kind of seen the first scene of the movie where it's hard to hear. Other than that it's completely fine. You can hear everything. The Movie Looks Really Nice. They're got to really nice vocations. The actors are really, really good and they're convincing as well, except for the except for the villain. The more I'm not seldom final winning, but it's one of those films I feel like people either hate or love it. There's no real middle ground. Tenant, you know where I stand. I know we said of a lot of things. Kress, Eric, Chris, guys, please, I enjoyed else did. I'm not everyone. Everyone enjoyed bleach. I mean, I guess for what it was retrieval. Why was people enjoyed? Again, a fair enough. Would you guys classify parasite as a psychological movie? The Korean one, Korean on. I haven't seen it. Ques, you have? You really have to? You actually? Okay, let's it go. I'm not parasite. That's a drink water in the cinema. Are you joking, Helen this guy? It's a Dopeo Call Eva, no Po and paper FOCUS, hands down, and a calculator for what how bad it is. The fuck. You may actually need a calculator. It depends, actually, hey, but anyway, it's a really good movie. Many watch it as soon as you can. Let Parasite. I'm watching. I might watch it to I actually literally is that please pass? I got so much hype. I watched it a bit late, I know, but but was it right? Was it right at the start of the pandemic? But no, it came up before that. It came out of pandemic. I remembered it before, early this year. Yeah, yeah, in cinema came out the hyple briathing really starting toward the wards, which would like to do woods. I see, that's what I that's what I'd heard about it, and by the time I decided to go watch it, the pandemic is kind of hit. No, I'll think it, I'll sink. I want I don't want to go in with the raised expectations because of all the hype in the t yeah, Oh, yeah, okay, I'm excited to watch it, but I don't want to get my expectations. I will watch, but it's so they were met, like it was a good movie. It's like I actually think of the movie in like two acts. This act one. It's so really good. Yeah, yeah, you're just like, wait, what is literally feels out too far from it. Literally you can actually feel when that. Yeah, move the first one eggs in, the second back in moment that it's just the top of a cliff and you're just hurtling down. Yet I went and it was after work. Cinema was past not a SPEC seat in sight. Like everyone was there, people was clapping there empt yeah, it is a movie for everyone. I went on step further, ab every man in Hampstead. Oh, really good, I may wants to be boogy. We got. That's where I watched. Let me recline the seats. You listen. Not that Qui two times, but I watched it before it came on in cinema. I really didn't think it was going to. I just still was one of those really good career movies that she's going to get overlooked by the Western world. And then when it came out, cinema's properly side because it's actually really, really good, like it's amazing. I need to watch more of his work. The host, he's bunching a bunch of his other you just move yourself to me yourself. A bunch of other movies are on Netflix now. I didn't know whether that was like, Oh, yeah, the way, that's thanks to hype of parasite or not, but he's got like two or three other movies on the Netflix. Jump on a hype train a lot. So I was gonna say I was gonna ask. So what psychological movie, Cys TV shows do you think people should watch that maybe don't...

...have the popularity that they should? The Black Mirror on top your personal recommendations, but as well, Black Mirror, I think, is quite widely two one hundred and twenty three, one season one, two three. Yeah, we'll get for what was season four. Again, we just want to start Gett a bit more America, and he didn't. I was just all America, we don't know. Season four as those I want to hard Black Museum of things. Yeah, that was season fine, though. It was a fine no, no's not. See, seasons have seasons, right, she's a five. had three episodes, striking vipers. Yeah, and then they am the other one with them, with the phone call in the car. Yeah, yes, it's cold, Smith the rines. Oh Oh, that might be my favorite episode of the Free I did like it. Waited to watch it again, but I didn't like it. I felt very I felt like I didn't know what was a silly I'm so sorry. I feel like the point that they were trying to make just didn't resonate with me. It's about so, it's about Social Medi what? Yeah, yeah, I think it's one of those ones where maybe if I watched it again I would appreciate a lot more. So I might watch it season once. Yeah, I watch the one that day. Is easily the worst season by for and the worst part is Miley Cyrus is episode walking, the best one. That was definitely was the worst one. I mean that's one of those was. I hold. All right, we see, it was a bit weird. Good, but I thought the actual storyline was was decent. I didn't think and the answer. The actors were really good as well. The corporate hard I could find was so good, and I will take good. My heart was breaking, like for her. Listen, she was amazing. Yeah, where is what the the Miley Syrus episode? I felt, I think I said it before, it felt like a Disney child, did it felt like of Black Mira. Yeah, like a Disney channel movie, like literally, yeah, that's the one thing about is one. Someone went into a Como or die, I can't remember. No, Miley went into a coma. So someone diedd In't her her unt or something die. I don't know, but I don't Miley went into a coma. Yeah, for a long time. Yeah, and and then she was in the door or whatever machine. I remember that. What's the third one? Was that? SMITHERINES? Yeah, SMITHIES was the second episode. Yeah, was third one? Yeah, okay, maybe my sis one wasn't, but then again I didn't dressing with the mines. I still enjoy seasurvived the season, for obviously it got American, but it still had a couple really good and episode. So we're crocodile. Was a season for Crocod yes, good, then season was crocodile met. You have metal head. It's good. I didn't mind it. It wasn't bad. It here remember an episode names. I tell you, I did get it about you. When is your next blocks? Money? When you next met Channel? Today, I can see it. Look at today. I'm releasing the one piece episode today. That's my content. No, you quite content. No, that's why I I mean, why not review it so everyone how they should watch it anyway? Money. That's been the pope list two moms in reference to stuff that's not been seen as popular. Black Mirror, but inside number nine. I know a lot of people haven't seen that and a few have, but that's why that was really good. It's it's more. It's more like Black Mirror, but stay in British and explores a couple more themes than I think Black Mirror does. And it's the episodes of slightly shut as well. I think it's definitely worth watch some minute episodes...

...and he does keep the comedy element to it really well. Yeah, it's still has the body, still very serious and it's very it's very very British, like is very very British drying courst it humor. Yeah, there's that, there's normal British comedy and then there's episodes with the very, very dark, dark undertones, similar to Black Mirror, but stephing with watch this on Netflix as well. It was one episode that you flying to us and we all watch. Yeah, it was. I don't know what the episode is called, but I think it's the second episode. Was it the one where you they've created. Said Yeah, just how it ended, and then I was like no, said yeah, because remember, we swell literally all day, all day ended. You guys like no, no, but look at this you will. Paper was looking like this and this. We found a creator on twitter. The Creator said Yeah, you flipping basement dwellers. I said, is how it ends? How you telling us how it ends? That's all your MOMS, yourself, Joan, wherever prick a batch off is gonna. I think everyone should watch Hannibal Lecter, Everyone Watch Hannahball and everyone watch Halla more. What's the first time he came out and I stopped watching off the that episode of things in this shit really good. What? So I was going to say what's she in platforms on it was on Netflix. It wasn't Netflix, but then they take an off British and now we don't have it anymore. Yeah, so I don't know. I don't know. Christmas the ones an Amazon prime, I think. Yeah, I think it's got it on his fist. He's got it. Eric's got it somewhere. I think. I'm not watching like a DVD. DVD. Well, for every CD I remember we have Eric's coming to actual know all. Some more question actually. What is your favorite psychological Sola story ever? Whatever movie, whatever book would you ever, but your favorite ever that just sticks in your head, lives? Your head burnt free, went free. Watch my question. Oh, is that your question? He's the host. Sorry, talking about it. Yeah, you know, ask it. No, actually, I was just joking. No, my question is slightly different, just in a sense that I just want to know which one's been the most thought provoking and whether you learned anything from that's that show, anime series, movie, the thing it frozen for there S. I mean Black Mirror seasons two three, the ones with the British actors, specifically Momento. I really enjoyed a really dyed shower shutter island yeah, yes, yes, for sure. Books. I can't think of any. I'm trying to books. The good night, good night pump, good na pump. Yeah, I think that's it. Money's up. laughing. Don't say that twice. Every good I have already go to the story. Also reminders and the woman's shy. Could I, could I have a good night, pun one good night. You are fair. I don't nobody do this here. I think it's just taking a doctor. Anyway, this is fine. Long into the recording and the like. Striped peper's, whoever, whoever's listening to this, probably disaster money with art. Would you ask for a discount? IDA's wrong steps. Not You...

...listen to this shit even know, but me, I think the ones that stick out in my head probably Black Mirror, season four, episode three, Crocodile. That's just that just lives my head constantly, obviously because it shows how, in order to protect your world, your identity, you'll do whatever it takes, and pretty much what she should kidding. I mean, I'm not going to spoil it, but I'm sure people of Spirit by now. The book, I would say probably one thousand nine hundred and eighty four children. Well, it's just actually, in addition to that, one thousand nine hundred and eighty four and animal farm as well, and farm. Animal Farm isn't as psychological, but there's so many psychological elements in it just in terms of state. I'm status and just looking down on people and how people can change when the way people can change when their circumstances do. Terms of anime and Manga, I'd probably say good night, Pumpun and I'd probably say I don't laugh, don't laugh, don't laugh. Buddy shaking, I'd say. I'd say good night pump and and I'd say most as well. I haven't finished a car pass, but I definitely put it in, Hmm, like some nice of definitely. Yeah, and I'll tell you. Guys have covered ones. IULD have listed for film, anime and books, and I'd also ad an extra one. I was thinking. I'm not sure you guys ever watched a twilight zone. It's really old and it's a rebooting. I have, so I have Dago. It's been rebooted so many times, but I used to watch this back on like what's that channel on sky? Si, sify something or whatever, CBS SCI FI or whatever, hmm, and I used to enjoy that and have a lot of like really have really interested in psychological themes. I think that one I would maybe suggested people if they want to see a different type of psychological theme show. That show actually was UN partly inspired Black Mirror. Oh, yeah, yeah, I see that. Yeah, psychological. So I think of you, of us. Watch is mine hunter. Yes, yes, yes, that's the epity me of it. That was a cool hunter. What's the other one? It got too heavy for me. I didn't finish it by will go back when. I don't know if I finished second season. I know what's quite hard to it for the first one, but I think we have discussed a second season. So I don't know, because I remember we don't discussed the first season in details, even if we. The first season ended my men getting the NIC attack. Yeah, that was really good. HMM, amazing season. The one thing I forgot to mention, I'm sure a few of you seen, is old boy. Oh my God, yeah, I that to my list. Rank three. Another one that forces watch sids. Oh my God, she was like to liken. That is from the camera on. Honestly, are yeah, I need to say a reaction, and she kept missing some things. I was at. Please, I did nothing. I could do everything. Know, you miss the Party, the ball, the go. I did nothing to the story. Do you play to see? Okay, and it was enough. Okay, fucking know that. That protested the end. As ever, watch the Manga was adapted. And also, I know, I know, it's not a great series anymore, but the first couple of saw movies where actually do so. Yeah, yeah, they used to scare me more than any horror movie as a child. I just used to think I'll end up there for reacently. You really, I can tell what we try to say. You're a bad kids. Was a lovely kid. I was literally a said like stop, there's no way that's possible. Wow, I could see I med be in a d two shoes. Kids literally a good I was the oldest in my family. I had to be all you're the first girl my imagine the household. Can you actually imagine? Do Mind? The minds already made? Up? Minds are made every someone.

Women I know have a hinge of even them. What to put a disclaimer the many guys people for IA. Could your podcast we actually does? I know that's what you guys will think. Yeah, yeah, cool, that's words. It's good. Any last words? I mean it's a psychological episode, isn't it? Chris? Yeah, I meant I was good. Yeah, psychological man, Manga, psychological anything. Definitely have to consume it in moderate doses. Otherwise you just hate everything around you. I can't imagine watching Black Mirror, reading good night pumpun and then, you know, watching bizarre something you just completely mess. That's part of the reason why I haven't started bizard, because I was going to, but, like the way the world is, I'm like doing the do this, like many remember when we watched should read in two thousand and twenty one, honestly, three hundred and twenty five. We watched Black Mirror. Yeah, when day season? Yeah, one in one day, right, and we finished the last episode in Primes House. By the time we'd finished we just all felt like crap, bro We actually just felt awful, like it didn't make any sense. We just did not feel good, any of us at all. And I remember doing that day. Said, yeah, we're going to watch a s exception together in it. Just watch whatever, let's just watch one episode. Watch one episode. Yeah, it's the way. It is a specific scene that I can't even see because that's what the spoiler. Ever, I just mentioned Chris. While it out. I thinking, how could she? How could she about? It could be two seens. It's talk about. That was what the last one. You're the one won. The woman was praying and I was like, oh, that one, know that. That wasn't me. That was a love the way that end this was. I was like, no, Oh, you is. You could feels that, you could feel the impact of the brick. I think it was when the police got there and Venice said who kills? Are Redacted, and I was screamed because actual start it was a yeah, the or the little pet no on you turned that. I was at, Oh my God God's yeah, Oh not, because obvious the job of if you, yeah, recorded everything. Yeah, spoilers. Okay, no one's been from here. Oh yeah, but watch it. No, watch it, watch it, just watch. What you to do? What's to do? Crocodile Black Mirror season for watch anything else in seasons. So this might be a good way for you to have me to school a bit more. What's your own discores? And that would watch all together. Yeah, there's this. All I would give mine watching a game. Yes, the link for eyes. This code, you'll be in the description box. But yeah, that I've think the last ten minutes of crocodile is the most sickling about watching a TV show. Let every single, every single scene with your stomach churning and then you get the conclusion when the police officers get to to the house in the reveal. How many people actually got to in the house? It's amazing. Television. It's I means television, but it's not something you can be consuming all day long. No definite something should be consuming all day long. I think I suggest you need to have like a plot lens and this is why you watch charger and last I think that's why my anime list is one hundred. Just shuts off. Honestly, I think that's where my animal list is like majority show Joe Because, like for everyone like deep series. I can see I need to like take like a ten week break. I think that's it for another pot and really I'm really sensitive those. I think that's like a normal like thing. Like I read I as I has me Pimpin. I finished it four years ago. I be mean to re read it again. Why would you want to re read that? Because I want to collect it. So I'm going to...

...read it if I buy them the volumes, but it's I'm still feel like I'm ready that even after I played that was wait, sorry, I'm here. Did you? Did you play with the three? I didn't finish it. The Oh, yeah, I finished other three and I cried for two four week straight. I've got it. I've got it on my I've got it, ere it's got it. We discussed like a lagool games, but yeah, mother three. Yeah, we'll do that another day. But yeah, there's there's a lot of that's that's a c view for our next and next and I think. I think, yeah, Games is a big thing because obviously there's like you. You're actually carrying out these activities for these characters, having conversations, you're making moral choices, and a lot of games, do you want to kill this person or let them go, that kind of thing, and because you're so connected with the main character or whatever character are using, it tends to leave a bigger impact, in my opinion anyway, than a lot of, not all, but a lot of books and TV shows and movies. I agree. And speaking of games, ever since the start playing wars and I've been dreaming about the actual game, as in dreaming about shooting people, pinging them for a bomb. It's no. But this is why I never played first first person shooting games, because it really fucks with me. Like it's I start to see it. I'm walking down a round, I'm like Ping that first no violence. I'm just saying I had just see it in my head. I'm just like, what the fuck. So this is why I actually understand some games. You have to be eighteen above to play the kill. Yeah, that's another discussions. That is twisted. Is Fun. I could never let my play that like it's the thing with the thing with war zone is just the fact that your objective is to survive and everyone is out there to kill you. Yep, so even the smallest you're always on edge. So think about a game of game of war zone can be about twenty minutes, twenty five minutes, and you're on edge for twenty five minutes. By the end of it you're so tense. That's why, for example, if you play it before bed, you just not going to sleep right, man. You literally are just on the edge, on edge for twenty five minutes. kind of like some thrilling movies as well, where you were you might be on edge for like an hour where shit is just happening and someone's trying to escape. I can't remember what movie it was, but I remember feeling that. Have you ever felt like that? Was Movies? No, yeah, absolutely sure. We're the last twenty minutes of parasite. I had my food, I had my drink, I was like this in my reclined side. Okay, I relaxed and toil was over. Person All boy as well, they are just they're just got really sad.
