And welcome to another episode of for is academia. Today we have toots, still abbey and money. Hello again. Oh wait, because I forgot. This's an audio for all this. Gonna be quiet, stuck in yeah, people running like this. I can't. Let's just got hello and to be completely structured. Yeah, you'll be. Would you leave this whole thing in? Yeah, Rukay that we took the last man's death as banter. It's gonna be the only one port. But yeah, we need enjoy. Yeah, I mean even bizarre. Had A bit of you know, but yeah, we a a more below. We want to offer condolences to Canara Maria and his family. He died untimely on May the fourth, and it came to lie two days ago. Made a nineteen. Think. Did he don under same funnier six Youd? No, no, it is a six may sex. Yeah, sorry, yeah, so you don't make the six. And it came to light on me the twenty. He's been an infvirtual figure in Manga and anime throughout the world and he's had a lasting impact on myself and one of the other members are for his academia. What are your thoughts for sorry, you're I mean okay, go first, because I think everyone else have a lot more to say, like I always too much. We need to start Bisart, even though I really wanted to. It's one of my tbr four years at this point and I see how invested everyone was and just for what I've seen glimpse, like second hand, seem like an incredible dark fantasy epic. But I think even a someone who never read the series myself, the impact across Manga and anime and even video games and film is clear to see. Like in the wake of the news of his death, I saw a lot more people making more connections with other pieces of media, because some they were more obvious, but even things like the Buster Sword, I didn't realize it was like a direct connection to gots this sort. I don't know the actual name of got some sword, right, so I can slayer, I can stay. Yeah, and it's just like this is saying. It's say it's like a is definitely was his magnum opus is, this is definitely his life's work and that's really clear to see, even the son who's kind of like on the outskirts of the Berserk fandom. So yeah, I thought this is like a huge loss for the community, that we lost one of the greatest story tellers in this medium and across any medium really. Yeah, but for re all, just just echoing what said that we not only did we lose a great storyteller we're in this medium, we lost somebody that has affected, impacted several different type of mediums and shows and Games and TV series, so on and so forth. My introduction to Berserk was, I think I was at Uni when I when I when I first started reading Bisert, and I think from the very first not sorry, I thought I...

...like, I watched the enemy first, I watched the animal first, and obviously it is only the ninety seven animals are at twenty five episodes long and it's in the middle of that actual story and by the end of it you're just sitting there wondering or what's going to happen next. And when I spend a quite a lot of time reading the man come. Sure we'll get into a bit later, but yeah, my introduction of Bisert was the enemy that I moved on to the Manga and it was a great experience and just to see how many people are coming out, pouring but basically the heart seeing how much she went to or inspired, how much of an effect I had in his life. It was kind of heartbreaking to you on the day, a very hotbreaking actually, and then going online watching videos of people that you're breaking down while it's walk at well there are receiving the news that he passed away, seeing people making montages of his work. It was a very emotional they not only for people that are a fan of the work, just people are a fan of enemy Manga or storytelling in general. How about you, stir? I think to it's a money of really just said it best. I think I can add anything extra to what they've kind of highlighted, you know, in terms of the impact that bizark has had, you know, in time, Maria's work is just I think what's really surprising this week it's just seeing the fandom come out on to us so for as I could do me a pot out of thread in a week too, kind of which was beautifully summarizing his the work that Theresak is and, you know, as to Doisn't mentioned in the work that it has influenced since its creation, and just seeing, you know, all the fans come together and just really sharing their appreciation for Katimeria's work was really, really great to see. So it just goes to show you just how widespread the impacts of Manga series can really have and there's just how much the type of legacies. Also that the right is the behind kind of creating really impactful works such as Bozak that we've all kind of luckily have the opportunity to read through. This really experience, not only from Bazak but from some of the other works. I didn't, it's my by it and just so faby I will. I didn't actually know how much of an impact it had or how much influence I had another pop culture until the thread. So that was really cool to see. And, like everyone else just said, he, you know, was it for me personally. My introduction to him was I was animal only, like strictly, and you may only up until a couple years ago, and then the only time I actually did read Manga was if I wanted to catch up to a town Tian from where the season left off. And then one time I'd some people talking about bizarre and I was like, let me just give this a try. I'm not going to like it. I already said to myself this is this is, you know, bullshit, like I'm strictly a merry I'm not gonna like the manger. So I started and by the end of the first chapter I didn't even realized those two hundred pages and I became addicted, like I think. I think I read maybe a couple arcs in just the first couple days and I just couldn't put it down. I've binged it up until three hundred chapters in like such a short time, and that was it for me. That was the beginning of my Manga journey and I was only a couple years ago. So it was for me personally like that was like my introduction to Manga. That was the first time I read a Manga, only without watching the anime before that and I wasn't interested in the anyway. I think months later someone said, Oh, try the anime, and I regret it because it was it was, oh, it was so bad. It was so bad. So I would never ever suggest someone to read so to watch them the Berserk anime, because the Manga is so good, like you don't need to even look that way. But yeah, so that he impacted me personally.

That was at the beginning of a manger journey and since then I've just started going back to like any anime that I watched I really enjoyed. I just picked up the Manga and reread it from the beginning and that was like that was it for me. So that was my intro to Bzak. which enemy version did you watch? I watched the CGI one, so the last. Yeah, I was six hundred and seventeen one. Yeah, yeah, because I you know, I didn't think that. I would have thought the old neo wants to be better than the old ones, but that was a mistake, that all the ones are actually better. I've seen some clips of it, but I just thought now, what's the point? I already read the Manga. I enjoyed that. Let me leave it at that. So, yeah, you said the barb really high. For Yourself, I did. I always do that. I always do that, though. I always do that. I was that whenever I do, whenever I get introduced to something, I always thought with the best thing and then it's like from there, it's like, you know, it's like when I go into my first game I ever complete as breath of the world. Oh God, like how many of BGS got out jail? JLBDIS can I complete after that? Like none the so, yeah, I always did that to myself. I said these a mystand is really high. Beginning. Yeah, yeah, I've been with regard to myself. As quite a basic introduction for me, I remember, I think I was in a secondary school and you know, as you do, you look for the Best Manga, top mango and the world and most violent mango whatever. You search for what you're looking for. I so I must have been looking and I saw of the familiar name stuff that I was really reading, stuff like vagabond, stuff like death, no and Berzerk always popped up. So I remember thinking, let me read this. I remember reading the first couple chapters. I thought it was pretty good, but I felt like it was really, really gory and it reminded me of gants. So I dropped it for like a little wild for like a couple weeks, and I can't remember what happened, but something made me read it again and the art really stuck with me. I was like this actually looks really good and the story seemed like it's actually getting a lot better, a lot more interesting. As you know, Berserk, when it first starts off as very, very violent. Then it kind of takes a more sombertone when you go into the friendships with with guts and all the all the people he meets, because relationship with Cascar his relationship with Griffith, and it was like a roller coaster of emotions essentially reading it and I always felt like there's not many shows, TV shows, books, anime manger that I've read that could kind of take you on that emotional roller coaster and make you feel so many different things towards so many different characters. And since then I've always been a fan. I was there for most of a lot of the middle hiatuses. I was always there waiting for it. I was one of I was one of the unfortunate lot that started reading while the water on the boat eight years later. So for me that was what a levels and a master's degree later, and it's still wasn't still went out the the same area were in eight years prayer. So you kind of got a bit frustrating. Picked up a lot of other staff in the meantime. And then eventually I hear, I think this wasn't two thousand and fourteen, because I is restarting, obviously e late about it. And continued reading. was always a fan. I remember when...

...it was announced I was coming back, I changed my twitter DP two guts and it's still is, still that same to a DP sence eve thousand and fourteen, the same as she can't remove it every guy. That is your brand and never really I never really thought about like that. I just thought, I'm happy BAK is coming back, so I'm going to change my DP to guts and that was it wasn't anything major. Wasn't meant to last that long, but all the time, I don't know. I think I just kind of became accustomed to the art of Berzerk. I was always a big fan and I was always always happy to talk to other people about the series as well. So yeah for me, because I is probably my favorite Manga that I've read personally, I think. So yeah, completely understandable. And just to touch on not like the odd I think there is the one thing that people are most familiar with, reserk. Even if you haven't read the Manga, you've definitely come across a panel or two and and something that is mentioned about it be violent, although that's that's what we mostly see for people that I haven't read and read the man or read the story, is that, even though it is extremely violent, is the story underneath it. It's so great and initial story, initially those stories about revenge. That's that's, that's the base is of it. But the relationships that got eventually has or the past relationship, e's, I guess, trying to regain in front. The whole story does really hit really differently end and you go through, like we said, go through a wave of emotions throughout the whole of bizark. I A grace one sor no, no, if that was it, I was I just gonna say this. I think it's a double page spread that keep that kept on seeing online again and again. They're really every time I felt like, I think there's like it is for me, like I'm really like screamish and stuff, like I really wanted to get into it. Thought like, Oh, I just have to work up the nerve to do you say before I can take the plunge. But those one double page spend the particular that every time I saw I was just like, Oh, it's get a grip, just read this, like what was? What was this for? It was it was yeah, and and guts and they all the souls. That is that is round be A. I zoomed in the can you open image and new types. You see the four resolution and I assumed and I would like wanted to corner. I was like this o came for one man's mind. I have to read this. It's so good to kick out on another did. But obviously now, with the news of his passing, I feel like a better start reading it. Like yeah, it's one of those stories you can start any time, like you know. So I feel like some anime Manga haven't experiened it. After some time, you just you just can't pick it up. But bizarre it's timeless. It's like you can, you can read it anytime. I started it two thousand and seventeen. Chris started it in secondary school. Maney started college uni. I think he said so, as I it doesn't matter when he'Sare. You're always gonna you always going to love it in no mater. What's where, at what point of Your Life You saw it? HMM, that's really for a Manga that's over thirty years old. It says a lot on the quality that at the work they put into it. Yeah, and the All star does get better throughout as well, I remember reading because I read it in one bolt. I actually saw the difference in one go. So I'm started off. It was good. I was still amazing, but, like the character designs were a little bit different at first. Yeah, no, when he was really young. He was seventeen. The memory was quite young. He's a twisted seventeen year old, you know, because the first in his teens. I'm wrong, later one thousand eight hundred and nineteen. Maybe I got published when...

...he was a bit older, but eat, it did so very young because when he was doing a when he was an assistant, to remember dealing with them. The boxing manger had you mainly. I was gonna butcher the name. But yeah, when he was in assistant for my many was it was eighteen and earsen. Yeah, he was eighteen years old to him. Georgia our. Yeah, he's an assistant. That's so oh, that's really cool. Even then he had the concept of bizarre. He already drawn up. I'm got and and just the very name Sorts of pee buck but huck. Yeah, ready, ready, drop got in park. So from eighteen and before eighteen, you ready had the concept of Bisuk and also even before that he was drawing Manga form was like ten years old and he was publishing it in within the school. But's a genius. He was rowing up mangoes when he's ten years old and getting given up to you to please classmates. So he's he's always had that neck one on the level storytelling from the very beginning for a teenager to come up with is crazy. That's amazing. Easily, I think, is a genius. I beat you remember went to either. So I'm going to tangent here, but just feel like, Mangar, could that have other doing this for the whole lives in the yeah, they started with to the Rostar exhibition and the tax similes, all his old net books he had when he was in school and some for when he was like six years old. Yeah, already had like the Knack for storytelling. Even though the drawings are quite readi mental like the paneling and just like the way he had kept like a story playing man from a young age. So hearing that you're started bizark when he was a teenager, just like some people, just obviously a lot of skills involved, but I think some people just have it and that for a year from the very beginning, I'd one thing. One thing about these Manga clors always kind of perplexed me is the fact that they, most of them, are very, very good artist in their own right and then they also have the ability to, or they have a high level of ability with storytelling. Now the two of them don't seem to be that connected. I know obviously in ourt a lot of the time you can be telling the story, but having those two skills and being able to put them together something that's really fascinating to me. Someone has been quite fascinating, mind boggling. Yeah, and it's always a detail, like when you see those panels, like I'm you know how the certain man it might Manga, sorry, that are re popular and that everyone knows, which there's always like a top four parallels. People would like to tend to associate those mangas with bizarre there's plenty. I was like, yeah, we had toy like we had spied your choice to kind of find our favorite ones, like the one tould mentioned about. Got To be Griffis that one just you know, like this is the Zark, but just see the detailing and out of the eyes of the others just is is always amazing to kind of just think through and flick through the mangers as well. Yeah, that's true. The panels in Berzark, but I feel often get overlooked, are the ones with the demonic beings. Yes, the Onester the best one. I saw, the different monsters every yet they're really call that amount detail. Yeah, like actually scary, because I remember the first chapter where we meet Zod. I was like yeah, like this is just it is a very scary story. I like scary things, but this, the story, is very chilling, like the monsters, the way they're designed is scary, like. So, yeah, I agree. Finger up was that? Like? My favorite panels are probably the ones where you see got a bit more emotional, like when you see in smiling. Is a particular I know of Gods where I think it's funny on in the story. I think it's that is in the black black swordsman. So I got where he goes to a kingdom and ends up killing, I...

...think is the king or something was or someone like that, after he tries to sell the Al to to to the God hand and almost sacrifices. Do I one or not sends up. He ends up killing them and in front of his door, even though you done all these deule things he's doing. Is Angry about it, saying all he's dead because of you, or something about I'll get you. Back on to the sign on his lines and Bisark says, I'm not reserved, I got to sign on the line that can't get me when you're ready. But as soon as he says that, obviously like better dem nick, but angry or or best ifface. The next panel is in turning around him crying because a little goal is they're telling that she hates him, she shoots, she wants him dead because Arguab, who was doing the right thing at a time, but thout the whole story of the such. You see Gat gots like constantly trying to minimize other people, constant seeing people are weak of the week, they should die, so on, the so forth. But in that panel it just shows how much he actually has to a degree and how much is actually hurting. And I think those panels of uts when you seem either smiling or really, really upset. I don't want that bee person. That hits me a lot more because it just just captually how how strong the story really be is and how deep got his feelings throughout the whole story actually are. It's not just the basic or I'm angry, I want to get revenge is like. There's so many different days of guts to character and handles like that just bring a home for me. There's another scene that's extremely similar to that one where he's sent out to assassinate a king or Lord and then, I think, as he's trying to puss his his escape, the Lord Sun appeared. That's what I was thinking. Ess that's what that's about. The money was talking about that. Don't particular remember the one money is talking about. I do remember that scene. That scene. That scene I seen in like four different formats and each format is just ridiculous. In the Manga I think it's probably the most chilling one, but it's it's something simple, so an accidental murder, essentially. He's all I've seen. This is. I mean I was like Nope, for what it stabs him and then he realizes that he's made a great mistake and just the face on the kid and guts, his reaction kind of tells you a lot about his emotional state. Gods is someone who grows quite considered really throughout the cause of the story, to a point where he can actually, you know, laugh and told jokes towards later stages of the story. Panel, one of my favorite panels and which is kind of in the the latter end the stories, when I'm gout says with guts his watching CASCAR and the little, almost the boy that there with after the bout baby. No, no, no, the baby I know, I don't know. Is the boy the baby, that he's very, very close to. Park Carmember his name, I remember. If you see him, you up somewhere. He's got he's got short hair and Cascar in her you know, demented state is playing with him, is playing around and guts is just he is kind of like a bit of seat happiness. He's happy that caskers having fun, you can see it in his expression, but is also sad that she's not who he knew before. Yeah, I think that's something I really enjoyed. Them like what the tributes people are making. So person I've been fed in the similar V into what you guys have been talking about. When we see gots more emotional side and his one scene, I don't have the context around it, but in the panel he's really angry about something. Put keeps teasing him cut. He's doing like different times. He's not even like addressing what's happened and he's getting more and more frustrated. The put he just breaks and just starts laughing and controllably. He says something like how can I stay mad when you'RE...

DIS ridiculous? HMM. And then after he's finishes his laughing for he's just crying and crying, and then it's like there's no text in the panel. I just needs you to kind of like feel whatever got his feeling. You've literally just you've just reminded me of something actually, and it's a major reason why I always tell people to read the mango over the anime, and that's because puck isn't in the anime. Adaptation is here. I didn't know that. I was amazing. One is not in the anime. Why? What was the reason for that? I've no idea, but it completely changes the dynamic of this story. Yeah, absolutely, Park serves as comic relief. Essentially, most, or I'll say about nine percent of the comedic moments in Berserk involved part bucks saying something referencing other mango, breaking the fourth wall. Yeah, parkers, parking is hilarious. She's hilarious. But mission makes some of the I'm not sure if he's in all the anime adaptations, but in the ones I'm sure, definitely in the CGI one, not the most recent CJI won, the one before this was it called again scored, and then the first addition, the one in the s pucks, not up there. Yeah, and it just feels completely different if you read the first volume. Literally every single scene of common with the relief is because a book, not, not, nothing, nothing like in like technically enjoyable about the first volume. Desert, is there a pook got? Is A misible, busy words, a guy from right down Frut the first volume. But yeah, it doesn't a spot. And that's what's ask questions as though. I know told you haven't read the but you will soon because of audimes come in. For those of you guys that who did read the mango or read up to some point. And well, there any a kind of other external fact there's that helped you enjoy reading a mango more. And if for me, when I started reading Bersark, I was at union, like manny as well, and like the sun, like anime, anime Manga reviews on Youtube, but I used to watch at the time that he used to like dissect and analyze the chapters, and that helps me enjoy even more to be like okay, like you know, we're on the same page, that kind of stuff. So I think that's kind of one of the the kind of aspects that made enjoy this, for me to read and then also watch your views afterwards. ASS Alve I didn't do any of that. Didn't watch reviews or anything, but the thing that helped me was documenting it on twitter. So I'll just have a like I had a mini thread that I I cannot find for whatever reason, but I made afraid of like all the parts, right, and I remember tweeting like Oh, I love Briffith. Why do people hate him? He's the best person ever. Oh my God, he's amazing, he's such a he's such a baby. I love him. Right. And then you got racions. Yeah, and if I was like what, like we're just keep reading, just keep reading, and I was like there is nothing this guy can do because, I mean in this story everyone does bad shits. I'm like, what can you do that's worse than what guts has already done, you know. So I was like there's nothing you can do. There's literally nothing you can do that can make me, that can put me off him like that much. And he did it. He did the worst thing he could possibly do that I couldn't even imagine right, and I was like wow, and I just I think, I think I must have quote to eat it with the panel that I got to or maybe it was a reaction pick, I can't remember, but then everyone was like you see what I mean, I'm from there. I was like yeah, well, I was wrong. I guess so, but that made it very enjoyable for me, I think. I wish it was a time. I don't know if there...

...was a time that a lot of people reading, because I had the same time, but when people are watching things at the same time on social media, it makes the, yeah, reading or watching experience way better. Like it was the same for invincible, it was the same for game of thrones, like Oh yeah, it really adds to the you know, the experience of consuming whatever media consuming. So that for me made it a lot more enjoyable. Something similar to do what I've been mentioned is that with a lot of Manga I read or animal read, like I show have like a really, really great protagonist and an okay antagonist or really really great antagonist. We're okay protagonist by the story still good with bizarre like you can someone can have an argument of them saying that gods is the favorite protagonist of all time and griffiths is the favorite antagonist of all time. I think both of them are really of that great quality. I don't thinks any other Manga or anemy who has a protagonist and antagonist at that level in in the same story. And then I thinks, and I think it's just how wealthreshed fleshed out griffiths was in the wooden ad arc. Scared understanding of Griffis as a character and when you obviously get to the point of the eclipse of him doing what it does. But not only that, is that we also get a separate story away from God. The small focused on griffiths with a sorry and I think that just add to his character. Obviously Griffin did everything wrong, but he still a wonderful and will create character, like one of the best characters I've pursing up the pleasure of reading on. But yeah, I think that's something. An element of result that I really love is just how great antagonist is alongside the protagonist. Yeah, I think that's a great point actually, because throughout the Story Mirror makes you question a lot of the actions and behavior and the moral compass of a lot of the characters. So, yeah, the people and a lot of Edgelo AGEL's that's to say, Griffith did nothing wrong. It's been going through the community for you know album, doesn't that was a support album about what bites in this yeah, yeah, not, he put the front goal on his album cover. That's not it. But yeah, like, this is the thing with Griffith. What he did was, by most metrics, incomprehensible, but as a story progresses, you kind of see why he did what he did. Ye, yeah, it's a build this utopia, new Falconia, the way he's going about doing things, what he's the LEMPS, he's willing to go to to do certain things. And Yeah, it's wrong, but it's like if it kind of reminds me of the Naruto storyline and what's his name, Madara, trying to do the mood and then check people into a sense of of what was really yeah's reality of being in a perfect world, and that's pretty much what Griffith is trying to accomplish guts in himself. A lot of his although most of us do like Guss as a character, a lot of the reasons why he's doing what he's doing is out of selfishness. Yep. Yet by agree. Yeah, he wants CASCAR and he's willing to do whatever means, whatever it takes to get her back, and it almost seems to a point where it's in regardless of what she wants. But yeah, I do like. I do like the the debates that it stirs up between all the characters and how no one is truly...

...good. No one's really bad. Guys and himself is definitely some chaotic good. Yes, and I think the genius in to tone's work is that when you look at gopas design like he's portrayed as some sort of angelic being. Yeah, fairly on in the story that's how he is treated pretty much by by the by the kingdoms that eat. He helps out as a as a swordsman or wherever, and then you have got to use all story for every single town and see and kingdom goes to you. He's just bringing about destructions. Been People's People's lives have come to an end because of thoughts just being there, because he's obviously branded so in in in a certain certain look, you can even in a certain angle, you can see you, can you? We would say that griffiths is technically the hero of the story because he's technically put in the country together and he's a he's, I guess, making a better world. Mean, in a way, what got? What gots? His action is that complete, tearing that down and eat. And if God does eventually succeed to go, Griffis, is that what's going to happen to you? The World? Are All these demons and ones that is going to run rabbit and all you money would die. And luck what Chris said. God doesn't care. Got gouts. That as his going. He just completely set on called the revenge, and it doesn't matter who and what it effects. It does say a someone who hasn't started yet. The second I saw, but if I knew he wasn't a good person, because he looks just like any kind of modern depiction of Licifer, and that's fably on purpose. You know, the fres getting long flowing blond or white hair, and Jenic appears because Nie of I was mentioned. The meal beautiful. I can literally name like Twenty Characters, not twenty evil characters in the same ill comes right. Yes, there's so many. Yeah, yeah, but I had demons finding out that it's not just oh, yeah, I heard you. Even he looks okay, but finding out that's not just a simple a suit us, a beautiful character. He's like evil. Yea. Even think like, based on what you will have said about the story, that gift in his evil, which again, is what makes a character. So this is it. This is the problem. Yeah, a lot of like story tellers do that. Oh, we don't want to give away too much of the story when to throw people off a bit, so we'll started this. They do it that way and a lot of times it comes off really obvious. But I think, just going off how you guys have talked about it, I think it's the only way that's really masterfully crafted and really well throughout. And like again, you could just saw it's this is just this was this man's life's work. It's obviously it shows because everyone is so affected by this loss and you have like panels and references and anecdotes for days, but even today all of our thingsnet. So that's that's the thing with Berserk. No one is is truly good, but yeah, and no one is truly evil, and it's such a major dynamic. You can put that across all the characters in the series, even the ones that just seem to want war in chaos for the sake of it, and all the time they're fighting for with his purpose, they believe in with his ideals, they support him and want him to, you know, to do whatever it takes in order to build this utopia or whatever one of the Games going to ask you. So I've seen the news came out that the assistant of Canera Mirror has said he's going to try his best to try and, you know, come to some sort of conclusion with the story. How do you feel about the story being completed without his presence? That's a really good question, Chris. The only thing...

...that that is I haven't actually caught up to the point where I'm I'm basically I'm behind. So I don't know what's in some ARCS. I don't know what's happened by Blah Blah, but from what I was reading on the TL from the the Ezac community that was saying that the chapter that was last written by Cantaram Europe's I can pronounce it. The last chapter that he drew and he wrote was actually it was actually one that they'd be happy for it to end that. I don't know what that chapter is, but that was kind of the consensus I was getting up. People just like just lead a where he stopped, because he's really the most recent. It's what I was told. I haven't read it, so I can't say for myself, but from what I was reading is that's kind of what the vibes I was getting. But then I personally wouldn't be I wouldn't be too for that because I kind of want the man who started to finish it himself. But you know, if Kasara had given the guy his destined to be, like you know you got to do, then that's different. But I think we would need to be some elements of his involvement in that to complete it. Yeah, I think they're just too much risk of ruining such a good story because, I mean, I don't know who this guy is, so I don't always capable of and I just feel like how'd rather be left not knowing how this would be concluded and if it sells right. And they're saying that the last chapter. Is that kind of a conclusion, then I would rather just leave it at that. Then someone like I would love, you know, I would love for it to continue, but I don't know you, so I don't know if you're going to be able to execute to the level, because he's said that. The Bar really high and it would be a shame for like now, for it to be, you know, rushed and just have that typical rushed conclusion that all these other mangers have. So yeah, just leave as it is. My opinion is completely based on what on what the Mana go wanted it happened. I because this people saying that apparently he gave notes to you, to his assistant, and he's been telling feeding information by the story ends and betting much outline lined the plot of it. So it just completely depends on exactly what contora wanted to happen. If he's happy for Isis, if his confidence is just been doing the work, then I'm happy to don if we don't get another be sear chapter, then it is what it is. Is We got a three hundred and sixty f chapters of it, of great work. If we don't get another one, it is just life. Unfortunately. But if, if it does have the means to carry on, then I'll be more than happy to read it. Yeah, just on that quickly. I'll sorry, gods, it's not can say as an outsider. I was thinking, like, I don't know how long this assistant has been working with me R, but if we can assume there's been like several years, and if had not some sletly discussions about it and we always been ill for a very long time, I'm sure there's been some high discussion about the stories conclusion. It's going to happen if something happens to him, especially given what we know about the working conditions for Mangaka, who are even kinnctally suffering from their piscal health issues. So, yeah, I think again, I haven't read that yet. Yeah, I you know, how could the story is secondhand, but I think if this, if what money said was true, like this is this has come out all yet he said that the discussions was with his assistant. I think of the good tech option there for fans to either take the last publish when he was alive, as a final chapter and also have the option to read the conclusion fed through fire his assistant, especially since I read that, giving how a dark and grimmed the story is, Mir did believe in the show your ending. For got. Sorry, not forget it. So I'd be interested to see that, just as like you know. But yeah, I think I think it'd be good to have the option there. I feel if the PUTTS come out, you're not interested. Didn't they read it? Yeah, but not wanting to ruin them, agree, because we saw what happened with is the Yourmo and attack on...

...fighting, so I get that. It's Oh, yeah, I think what would be I think what would be better if they do go that route and the assistant does kind of take over and compete the final folly more chapter. I'd I think what we better is, for example, if they were to come out and say, Oh, before Cantara die he did complete this chapter, because I think it my kind of be a bit more ruined, if that makes sense. If you will know that maybe wondering completed it. One thing to know is that he did finish the three hundred and sixty four huns before he died. So that was meant. That was scheduled to be released. It was there going to be year. Yeah, but it was held back due to reasons we now understand in hindsight. His assistant has been with him for quite some time and had helped him and assisted him with storyboards, like most of these assistants do. I personally think if MIRA was confident enough to trust his assistant and we should also have that s interest in him. I know he's not there to, you know, finalize things and put that fine final magic touch and we do know that the minor details make a big, big difference with these kind of things. But in my personal opinion I think if he can trust his assistant and we should be able to do that. I don't think the last chatter that released is enough of an ending. It's kind of just like it's just like a situation. Essentially. It's not really an ending. It's still leaves a lot of answer of questions. What's going to happen with Griffith and his pursuit of new F Aconia is what's going to happen with guts and CASKER's relationship is? They're going to be confrontation with between guts and Griffith again, got some casker, sorry, Kaskier and Griffith. We don't know. There's a lot of big, big questions and need answering. They could decide to just say, you know what, we're just going to pack it in and that's that and no one could really complained. The guys died. But you know, and sort take wherever we can get really. Yeah, I didn't know that. He left him notes and an outline of like where the story is going to go. So if you did do that, then I'm happy for the assistant to continue with that, but at the same time, if I don't like it, I'll drop it. I like to just didn't read it, so I just you know, like before. So Yeah, say like Dragon Ball. See it doesn't exist. Yeah, I watched the provibes, but that's not okay. I can ask one final question actually. So obviously we know mi or died recently and it was and he had a large list of health conditions. I can remember in two thousand and thirteen reports of him having issues with his health from all the way back then. We know there's a large possibility that the workloade of being a mangled car led or contributed to his untimely death. What are your thoughts on the working conditions that he's Mangaka currently have to work under unacceptable. Yeah, I'm just gone on for SLEX conditions. Yeah, no, it's really disgusting. Like everyone seen the schedule. Oder schedule. I don't know if that's Oh, I've seen that, but the one, yeah, loking the round. Yeah, he had like four hours of free time in a week. Yeah, like his whole life is sleep and one day in one day, you know, I think one day. Think was a Monday. You only gets two hours of sleep. So even a sleep by sleeps is scarce. So, Ye, it's with a team of assistance. So you can imagine, yeah, shucking jow big of a Mangaica he is. You'd think,...

...like, for example, you've been and they get treated like celebs out there. You know that they were and they can just enjoy their work and they wouldn't work under the type of conditions. That always surprises me to know that. You know, Manda, because I really respected you know Japan and obviously globally. So fact that they'd allow that and allow that kind of threads working conditions to be the norm it just sucks me. I'd assume this to happens to maybe a new start a Manga Co who's really small and they don't have that tea of support, but the big ones like yeah, od are and can trimary. It's just this is so shocking. Being a MANGICA has has become. It's almost like a lifestyle decision. Kindly we came to being a monk in China, where you can no longer live a normal life. Being a Mangan car you. It's like you're you're restricted to what you can do. You have to sleep a set number of hours, you've got a take, you got to make sure that you prioritize your work over your health. There's limited times of bamily and friends and they have to understand that and it's really sad and I don't feel like that should be the case. I'M gonna I'm unaware as to how like, for example, in the UK and Western World, how you know book writers and Com Book Writers and guys that are producing and creating and writing switcher movies work and their time skills and they lifestyles. But I've never heard of anything like it is in Japan with many, I was going to say, because as there's other industries, as Lucky said, book briers coming briers. I'm pretty sure if it was to that level we'd hear about it. So why wouldn't they just follow something that's already in place? These people? Maybe, back in the days it was out there for everyone, but like I'm pretty sure they've changed in now and I don't know why they're not, you know, doing the same like then. They have like some kind of union there that helps them, like, you know, kind of specially hope if yeah, you know, you like on board of unions. Took less of Japath. Yeah, but like, I don't know, it just doesn't make sense because it's like, I understand giving you a life for your craft. You know, I'm you remember. Actually, I remember a long time ago finding out that it took six months to release the anime and episode of the symptoms. Yeah, that one got blew my my even now, even till now. Yeah, Oh, wow, oh, I would have been quicker laugh, for you meant back in a day. So even till now it take six months to do one episodes. As recently as I've heard, let me sixty six months. I remember hearing that on the news, and that's a that's a twenty, twenty five minute episode of Television, which is difficult in itself. Imagine having imagine having to draw so which is that it's how sis from two thousand and eighteen is still six months. Oh Wow, oh wow, yeah, what. So, imagine being this soul artist of an ongoing series that releases on pretty much a weekly basis. Yeah, how are you going to have time for anything? And even when they do take time of people complain that this bring but the complaints are ridiculous. Let's got ignore it. But I really think it's a cultural thing. Guys, finally, they just is and pressure from the publishers and so on, Psychic. I don't know if there's a cultural because I read web tunes right and I think some of them aren't on from Asian countries. Some of them are from here, and they still have that weird apologetic at every time they miss one week, they're like, Oh my God,...

I'm so sorry, I had like a wrist cramp and oh my mom died. I'm just like, why do you feel like you have to pander to your fans this much, like, you know, just just apologizing over apologize. It's really toxic because just like you have a life to meet. If just so I can get ten page chapter, it's not the end of the world. So I feel like, I don't know, it's just if a calling that like fan fiction, like it's so so. This is a free this is something that's free, something to do. It like some if you are a creative person. I just think it comes with it to send. Yeah, there's something you read and it won't update for six months and I oh, hope here. Okay, you know, these uping soon, mry, and they come back like, Oh God, I had brain cancer. My Dad wasn't a coma is always so sorry, new chapter. Oh my God, don't apologize. There's a bit of everything. I think, because I like the all familiar like Japanese culture over work, that this is a term for when people want you use to death. Yeah, it's almost it's almost honorable. Yes, yeah, yeah, honor in it. It's not exclusive to Japan, but I think it's more like prevalent in Japan. But the time for it, because even to here in the UK it's like companies still feel like of what our work week is the standard, like everyone has to be in the office, the longer people on your office, the more output. But we knew the studies. I'm sharing that that's not true. Yeah, as actually just yet that we JEN Z battery keep people more productive because he's a trust employees. So, yeah, sorry, goes, and I think that's part of it, but also the kind of like vocation of creative work. It's not a part of it feeling up having to like apologize for taking breaks in the your health is failing. And then, obviously, if a Manga as big as Buzzar be as big as one piece, the pressure from publishers, because you was it's just it's money, it's just the nature of the job and like their own, like you're possibly I think it's just a combination of what these things. But I think, enlightened this news, definitely going to see less of like the men kind of heart takes about our can't believe no. Past Week Wes a chapter like you know what, maybe for the short time. Yeah, at least. At least everyone's feeling child because I remember the last week go to you that I've complained so many times about to guctually have taking breaks. Its ritus. But then when when you realize what Manka has actually go through, like I literally have the right to complain. People still people will still be complaining, people will still be complaining. It just how in how people feel. I guess she's been having issues with his health since the S. yeah, that's crazy, man. I don't know if any of the hit most of the issues are brought on because of, you know, the warming mangakers in the work. But it's like, I mean, if you see us, if you're seeing that, then why would you want your creators, but only people that can actually treat the story, to suffer and then risk a story ending halfway and then not even be able to benefit from in the long term? that it doesn't it's not adding up like I think there's a I think there's a an issue where the businesses don't care. They need the releases, they need the content, they need to sell their magazines. You do what it takes to get this out, or will replace you all the some some my accompanies can replace like never. We say that, but after a while, you know, a hundred times hasn't been in jump for what nine hundred days? While spend that me and they in that time, how many new Manga has so you me replace this, the story completely, I'm feeling, goes on. You can't replace it. To the funds, obviously, to the foundation people, the fans will always be the fans, but to the general public, two new viewers, to people who might have a passing interest, they're just going to...

...move on. They're not going to care. I'm going to do why am I going to commit myself to a show or a series where the Mangifer hasn't written anything or displayed anything in nine hundred days when I can watch this stance constantly putting out weekly releases? Yeah, well, there needs to be changed. I don't yeah, and they definitely does need to be changed. I know we're not really sticularly optimistic, but I think in light of DIS news and also go curscay, when go coo gangster, coming out and saying, like you people to stop passing me. Yes, they denextractor. They all need the energy. They all need to stuck off. I'm feeding my buds like I've got chronic and incurable health condition. I lost an eye, I've got numbs, I've got numb nerves, I've lost an eye, like my back hurts. Yeah, haven't chill. Yeah, I haven't given up a gangster, but she's crazy to will get it when I'm physically able. Yeah, and they all need to have that energy. I for liked be the standard. Probably doesn't care about the creators and even though the money makers. But, as Chris said, still find somebody else use. Yeah, more productive and healthy in the absence, which is sad, but HMM. Yeah, Long live the man the cars who are in terrible working conditions. I'm praying for the one a circle, for to Gussi and od. I know that happens to older whatever you pretty it would hurt, really hurt. But if these is, those two munger cars, are Gushi and o there, were to say we can't make this, these series, I'll be that. I would rather they say I'm not making anymore, I'll be okay whatever. I'm just gonna have to. I just have to come simes that they just suddenly like die. Yeah, I wouldn't even know to feel like yeah, I'll be few of the it did just not the mango, but I'll have to accept it. Can had facts from our three am three seeing me. I will complete one piece on Ao three, like, are you crazy? I will write my own fake from then. That is when my Bryan create picked up, like what are you to told me that's thanks, not villin. Now are you joking here? We go so much material that we can create one piece, two piece, three piece, four piece, one piece and a half. I listen, I don't know what happened. If one piece, I just stopped. Now it's gonna be a competition of who can write the best story. Yeah, and I would love to see that, because no video with it. They'd be factions and you guys versus you survives. If happened, they'll be a whole new world of content. My yes, the one I'll be looking forward to the most is the Zoro versus sangie's, the ones that create a story, with the Zoro fans paying a story and a Sunday fans paying story. The bombs on this get came out version spin off. Everyone read the same first what three or four chapters, and then the last couple was just know it was this Broblah. Fuck. Yeah, it's true that nobody knew who wrote it. So it was like which one do you believe? The author of key Shi, the SCT. I can't believe how anonymous they found her. They valid publish an article interviewed her. I don't want believe we're talking about get when we're on your ring. Can Time your and saying, all, two great stories, let's storytelling is just, yes, wanting compassate. How are they know her? Because when I saw that publishing, about storms, publishing the books, we can really...

...find the person. Yeah, abanis been about for ages. She just looked about La Pela. People, apparently, people within the instry, being knowing who she is, like rumors that are everyone ever kind of knew. It was dispassed like an open secret, but nothing that coming for tech period. The impact that she had, that had us sitting at the p changing rooms like in a circle and reading out for one person to reading get out to the whole like on one phone, on one little brick phone. Yeah, text. The impact that this girl has had. Yeah, Oh my God, our childhood. Like she needs to be given whatever prizes that authors get, given, I don't know whatever. Like I what I want is to make sure that the right person, the original create surfris. I mean, someone would have claimed it by now. couldereman times you been claiming it, but not, because funny is basically just Erratica but before we knew what Ale we where is the writing star as well, and the way that it was like, you know, I don't know, just running to the people of the time. That's what it's gonna write any way you used to read it cares going to be a nightmare. I will read it. All these, I hope, all this only like the one. This any Texas and yeah, okay, Robb kne it means publish it like that. I wouldn't be able to read. I'm sorry, like but Ke's get best romantic story ever, way better than fifty shars gray. Oh that's not facts with this is a bit stinks. Yeah, thanks in peace, good time. You're are sorry, I didn't read anywhere life, but I will honor your legacy. I'm going to collect all the deluxe editions, yes, and any findal thoughts on to see about the series. Please hastle my Gorka. He's online when they take a break. Go the week is a holiday. Okay, you don't you chapter is cool, sat the Christmas. But yeah, there's that. Obviously I felt affective by news, really emotional, and I did even read it. So again, looks like a book of record. It just goes to show what a masterpiece it was, what a what an impactful series it was. And Yeah, I think the fandom is really shown now. So it makes me kind of happy, even though this is really sad news, that his legacy will carry on. People have given him his flowers. M made note of how he has. If you're with these other genres and he's yeah, his name was still go on and the see was still don't want even know he's not here. So yeah, that's a bomb. Yeah, everyone, mother. Why should add is? That is a great series in a definitely highly recommend the people read it, but I think it is important for people to know that some of the context with a bizarre like for warnings. Yeah, if you're if you haven't read Bisuki not or you don't know people that I've read it, that they are like sexual violence. It is sexual violence, Musert. So if that's not the type of contentate you're able to read through your stomach or or engage with, then I definitely don't think that you should. You should read it. Yeah, trigger mornings on Gore, sexual violence and stuff like that. So that money said. Don't read it if your sensitive to stuff like that. Yeah, if you can go for him, when the great stories you ever read? Honestly? Yeah, yeah, and I'm also stuck because I plan on getting entire collection, but the Max one looks real nice. I'm also told I don't know if I shuld get the one like Chris has got, because got the pick actual pictures on it, but our father's a deluxe. This addition, go volume.

There's all. Sorry, I think funny. Is the latest one and there's three volumes in each. How many volumes are out until how many volumes are there? Wotie, I want to see Chris obviously around. For you, it's quite a few. So which one has the fault? Is the other? Will Not paid to back the LX S edition hasn't caught up yet. The people back is your bestpecial when to pay five. So I'm just gonna stop. Collected the deluxe of a version. Yeah, forty volumes, fourteen. I'll collect ours up collection and yeah, by your mango when you can. Yeah, listen, yeahs to me. I've got loads of space. Love that you worry about me. I got one kid a whole. Love Rey. Look, I see it, books off over there behind my hats. Love to see that. We definitely have an episode talking about selling Manga and enemies. Sure I'm going to talk about you all hour. That is my king. I just whend me you're a died. I think that's why I got S Mational. I thought this is the way you look. We're reacting. is how I would feel if I got the news that you sor I died. Really, I was like, I still need to finish one star. Once are like that one. Actually, yeah, I thought I got the first, the first job. So, yeah, I got the first chapter, the first shops on the same first yeah. Yeah, so I sawed the Mang but I'm going as aside anime. But I don't know, I think I might try the mang go instead, but I feel like the anime is well done, and that's what people have been saying anyway. So it was sighs like some similar by one of the greatest story tellers in my opinion, but just a Manga, but just in general, but manger TV from the terrifictory tell of yeah, again, just as just one guy's imagine brain Bros, very these are should be considered geniuses, honestly, to come up with such such stories and are like I think the genius has cool. Well, we've been for as academia. Thank you for listening. Make sure you follow us on Youtube, twitter, twitch, tiptock spify everything. Just such, everything will be on there also.
